I would be there for sure but we have a crew rolling to cincy tomorrow that I can pass on. A friend/dealer of my has travis pastrana coming out and a few of the nitro circus people going to be at his shop and I promised to go out. I want to get the gt back on the dyno on one of these nights when you have the deals and see if the external dump made any difference. I wish I had the balls to have fun with the cobra and see what we could have done with 12psi :-) I guess thats what winter is for

There is a dude that did almost an identical build just not my kit on a built motor and the mp76, made just shy of 800 wheel.
-
Brian, its going to take the inner fender to tb pipe and maybe putting the coils on the firewall. Its not going to be much, guys use the 99-04 on the 96-98 2v kits all the time. We can make this happen :-) Ramsey, I dont think it really matters, I know flowmasters eat up power on turbo cars but if you are buying something, get a straight though design muffler. Kurt, the mp70s with the larger exhaust housings have made just over 700 wheel on 4v cars. Built motors and running the 76 I believe the one mach guy is almost at 800 wheel now. Granted thats not my kit but the layout is pretty much idential so it should be pretty realistic numbers. I doubt I get to find that out for myself for a little while, eventually though. I have a guy that wants to bring me his 03 to do a compound boost setup like the red car on svt performance right now. That guy is actually a customer of mine and was getting me all the details on how he did that setup and got rid of that complete front bracket assembly on the 03.

ramsey, tomorrow is you and alex and ice and everyone else rocking open down pipe's lucky day. Give me till like 6pm but you can come grab one, they are ready. I would rip it open dp, my notch sounds stock. The cobra did receive a new blem interstate battery, its the least I could do. Its actually rocking out a brand x minis sticker instead since I didnt have anymore works stickers. As far as projects, gotta finish this 07 gt setup if all goes well on this go around with the new changed pipes(5 changed and had to get re setup in the jigs). Marty is bringing me his 94 Cobra and Im going to do the sn 5.0 kit for the 94-5 guys. next month I will release the 351 swapped fox car single kit. So after marty's car, its chill time for a month or so. Maybe time for me to just focus on my own car for once and get some stuff with my notch sorted out :-) ......mod motor maybe?

02 gt pedal goes to floor after rear rotor/pad install
BDHG940 replied to BDHG940's topic in Tech and Tips
I checked the area where the car has sat for the last day after I have been pumping and messing with the ebrake. There is nothing on the wheel or on the ground, I dont think its leaking but we will find out, Ill just start tomorrow by bleeding the rears then and see what happens, thanks man -
I know it is, I have been planning on a fully build 5.0 r block and after talking with mmr, they have me pretty convinced to go with a 4v swap in my 90 coupe. After going over the numbers, it really isnt going to be much of a price difference and its not something you see everyday. Hell I was pretty impressed when my 2v was making 440/496 bone stock from tb to oil pan, stock catback, and on 10#. My cobra with the novi 2k on there and just over 8 I believe it was put down 440/396. Im pretty pumped up on the numbers after sitting back thinking about it, never would have guessed. Just wished that stock bottom end would liked the numbers as much as I do...lol

Cool Ill have him start bleeding the rears tomorrow. What about fronts? we will need to do those also wont we if there is air in the rear? You would think I should know this when my dad owns a company that sells brakes..... -

the rears were throwing metal shavings all over my wheels...lol There was nothing left due to a john force funny car burnout in a very remote location.... -
edit for me being dumb

I hopped in the car after I had some pads and rotors installed, pedal goes to the floor. I pumped the brakes a million times, set the ebrake a few 100x and dont understand what is going on. The master cylinder was completely full and suctioned a little out but what else do I need to check. It almost feels like they start to grab where they used to, then completely gone till its to the floor about? All that was done was rotors and pads on the rear

Thanks for that Brian, I didnt even take it out of the trailer and just heading to kilkare tomorrow if the weather is good to see what happens. Cant what to see how it feels, hopefully that poor stock clutch will allow for a pass or two before it decides to go south. I dont think you understand how bad I want to call mmr and give them a credit card number

I have one here with the warrany for 2 years, $50
-
Its not completely on track but still hoping for the end of the week
-
$3,500 in a shoe box?

quit being an idiot jon, you have a nice car, just drive the thing. You have a serious problem with buying/selling cars. Just drive it, you can work on my car if you feel like you just always have to be working on something..... come to think of it, I think brakes on a mustang are in the very near future :-)
-
Never like to see things like that happen, not a very good indicator for the industry but you never know I guess
-
we still on for that 0-50 lol
-
Yea Im sure as soon as we get the thing on the dyno there will be video for sure. Its not going to be this week but I will be everything will be reproduced and jigs changed beginning of this week so Im expecting around mid-end of the next week to have everything back together. If that goes as it should and all changed were dead on with the changes we did, we will be going to the dyno then. Its not far off, if it wasnt for us making a production setup from what we are building for him, it would be done. Its just a process and to ensure proper fitting parts, its just what I have to do. The setup is going to be cool, hell it makes me want to sell my 02 and find a rough 05+ to build for myself now :-)
-
No we are going to be doing a complete sn setup though later on next month which will have this Y with it. Im sure you could modify it a little to make it work. The only problem is that I dont even have a design layed out for the sn car till I get it here and look over everything. So I really dont know anything yet about it besides we will have a single 70mm in the passenger side front area just like the fox kit. You might be able to make it work, its just hard to tell because I have never had one personally on an sn car. Just customers that have made maybe a half dozen or so work on the sn cars.

I didnt even know about this show and my dad sponsors it andrew you bringing out the show stopper 93?

He seemed like a pretty cool guy when I met him. He took us out and beat the shit out of a 600 wheel evo, good times :-) Pretty cool cars to look at as well around the shop

Craig did three cars for me today, and they came up very good. I would & am going to use Craig & Dyno Brian in the future.
-
well Im up for messing around with it and trying to make something around this. When/where can I get it? did the 93 cobras have a different offset on their wheels then compared to the other fox cars to accomodate the longer axles? I can get the axles done to sn length but that really doesnt benefit anything because those are already 5 lug disc cars. Im just trying to come up with a design for the fox cars and have an off the shelf brand new everything 5 lug rear disc conversion
