  2. I dont have any photos now but Ill find one. They are brand new and if I cant get 230 here Ill throw them on ebay. Save yourself $100 and buy them quick
  3. Damn, that was funny (thanks).
  4. I don't understand why the person just couldn't shoot himself instead of him & his two daughters.
  5. What exactly are you looking to do, just something larger in the front than the 11" factory disc? We stock Baer kits for the front 13" and have our own designed 11" rear setup. The Bear stuff we stock for the rear is still 11" but would have an aluminum caliper where ours is a cast iron. http://www.getdiscbrakes.com or call ahead to make sure what you need is in stock and can just stop in, check out the shop and pick up.
  6. I believe their main problem is they don't many products that people want.
  7. God damn you john linn, its all your fault!!! I hate you and you ruined street racing for all of us
  8. damn that sucks thats what I paid for it, Im just going to file a paypal claim and ship it back I guess. Hope I get most of my money back, the guy isnt even helping at all to file with ups so Ill just make him take it back
  9. Ill take some photos tomorrow with my camera, those were just some pics from my phone. Whats something like that normally cost? Im just trying to decide if I need to just take a loss and buy a new teksid or what. I just dont want to have some expensive bill when I can go buy a block for around 275
  10. Rob, how much did they charge? Does tinman have a shop or a number to call? Ips is this something you can take care of? pm me how much
  11. My luck continues and my block showed up cracked on the back corner where the bellhousing/oil pan meet. The piece you see fits really good and nothing else is missing but I think it should be able to be salvaged and just welded back and Im guessing needs milled where the bell and oil pan sit. If you can fix, pm me a price You can see the tab broken off on the ground http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/block.jpg This just shows where its broken off http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/block1.jpg

    E-85

On say a boosted car, how do you know the consistancy of the fuel and maintain the tune based from that? I could be completely wrong but I was thinking that they have different blends in different seasons with different amount of ethanol. I have always wanted to mess around with the e85 stuff on my car but it just seems like everywhere you read people are saying different things. It would just suck to have to retune every season depending on the fuel.
  13. Steven is a good guy, I have know him for a long time
  14. I have a couple projects, the cobra is only one of them. Should have something for you by spring :-)

Andrew is a jackass, its better than what I was expecting to see. I was guessing he was going to be trying to trade me maybe a 90 Olds 88 and maybe $30 bucks.... So whats up with this party, thought you were throwin down this week. Havent gotten a call yet
  16. I guess I would just weigh the options and cost because it would probably be cheaper to just sell these and get a lower compression piston then.
  17. Right I know ideal would have been 8.5-9:1 but thats what I thought it was at first. I just didnt know if I should list the pistons back up because I got a good deal and just didnt want to pass. Then come to find out they werent exactly what I was told. I would plan for race gas as this would be for my notch, not the cobra I just have stock cams, didnt really plan on changing them out. Whats your thought on that?
  18. haha I wish I had time, Im running out of mustangs to turbo so going to have to expand out sooner or later :-)
  19. I just bought a set of pistons and I really dont know how to calculate compression but the guy was saying 9:1 and now telling me 9.7:1 after I bought them. They are CP aluminum forged from Saleen used in the s/c cars. Is that going to be too much for 12-14psi of boost?

I was going to, just getting sick of trying to piece stuff together. block that I order came in cracked, heads I bought were supposed to be 04 and came in 4 thread and one had repair and been heli coiled. Said screw it, working a deal on a 01 dropout, throwing the motor in there and picking up something with more cubes to just drive, thinking something with a 7.0L Ill still have the notch Ill build for racing and might still try and do a mod motor setup in there if this 01 setup comes though. Ill have everything to get my car back and running and everything the notch would need for the swap. I have a new cobra crank, manleys, saleen/cp pistons, etc. What do you think about the compression, it was going to come out to around 9.7 with those piston. Do you think thats too much for 12-14psi?
  21. for some reason I really like the way that car looks, very cool setup

I will consider, let me see if anyone can come up with just the full payment. I found a complete 01 cobra dropout and need to pick it up. Ill have a 3650 with that motor if you need just a cheaper replacement. Not sure what they are worth or go for
