  1. I am just looking for an engine to use the short block. i really don't want to mess with something that needs rebuilt.
  2. I am just curious, on my newest project we are running this car with a blow through maf. The maf location is about 16"-18 from the throttle body I would say. the I would say if you back track from there, there might be around 14" from that the BOV. Basically the BOV is maybe 6" from the outlet on the intercooler. Is there any idea spot or true specs to go by with placement of the maf and bov? I know we need to keep the maf in a straigh section of tubing but is there any area or specific distance away from the throttle body that I should know of?

    Hal, Just curous if you have any photos how the tubing comes forward? Did the kit have manifolds that exit forward? I have that gt at the shop now and the dude is plumbing up that kit and still trying to get ideas. If your goes up and over the lower control arm I would love to see in person how it routed to come up with more ideas. Also is there any bracing that supports the turbos or just tubing alone?
  12. We are doing a 2v turbo car and I have the hookup on 03-04 factory ford injectors. That is the reason I was trying to find out if they will work. I have see some harnesses online that I think you can use to adapt them but I still dont understand what had to be adjusted on the injectors when you say lab grade equipment needed? I will have Brian tune the car and handle all of that when we get to that point but I was just trying to use these because it would be dirt cheap to include with the kit. Rob, when you say get the car 100%, are you talking on the tune? If that is the case it would be pointless I guess for me to try and save money and not be able to perfect the tune. What situation did you use the cobra injectors with? So basically is it going to be better or maybe easier to just go with frpp or lucas injectors?

  17. Yes, I can do that for sure. Once we get the production stuff in and have some customer photos and more numbers, Ill post up some more info later on down the road...Or hopefully someone from the forum will by the car and you guys will be able to see from them
  18. yea it was the rs knockoff vented to atmosphere. The maf on the car is setup blowthough though if thats what you were asking. The car is so damn loud you dont really hear the bov though since I have just been running open downpipe. Car goes to ebay tomorrow I guess to see what happens.
  19. have issues getting that lower intake sealed up?
