nice thanks for the info, I we were worried the hoist would get in the way but I guess we will try and tackle the project with it then. I have all the parts so hopefully if I can get a few friends over and get this 5.0 out of the garage, might try and do it this weekend

We are getting ready to install a k member in my 02 gt and trying to find the best solution to support the engine. We were thinking of just using the engine hoist but think thats going to get in the way trying to pull the old one and install the tubular one. Let me know if anyone has any hints or tips they wish they knew before you started your install

hard to appreciate how fast those cars are when they are both making some big number. I would love to see my car beside that cobra, then you would really know how fast those cars are...lol

The weird thing I dont understand is that your gauge reads about the same as mine and I have some decent underhood temps with no header wrap on the single turbo setup. But yet I can still instantly park the car, pop the hood and hold my hand on the intake without burning my hand???

Thats really all that you need to do. Only reason to disassemble the stock valve would be to just keep it for distribution purposes for your lines.

I dont have an outlet now but we have an electrician coming to rewire some new lights in the shop tuesday. If he can put an outlet in cheap, Ill buy it Ill let you know tuesday if you have it around still

That torque increase is pretty impressive from just a tune. I just got an 02 GT to get started on next as well :-) Hopefully you will be able to work some magic on that.
