geesh....you guys sound like a bunch of women.

this is kinda what I was thinking......just another reason my 98 will go to my 10 year old when he gets old enough which definitely won't be 16. It's worth $6500 just to let mine sit in the garage until then. I got that much in the rear, cam, and heads almost.

say that allowed to yourself and see if it sounds right to you

I can appreciate just about any way a steak is cooked. I think wood is like any other seasoning. It just adds depth and flavor to the meat. I've had char broiled too though and it does highlight the beef taste. I like my steaks seasoned whether it's a steak house's own seasoning mix or just salt and pepper. It all just compliments the meat. I don't do steak sauce although I don't give people shit that do. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to their food. After a year or two of marriage I finally convinced my wife to try her steak medium rare and without sauce. She's been eating that way ever since. She grew up on well done steaks smothered in A-1. To me that's not appreciating the steak but rather just figuring out a way to choke it down. That's just the way they ate them growing up though and it was all she knew. Blood on my plate used to gross her out....now she says "That looks like it was cooked good."

we're supposed to go back to Chicago in December......if we do I think David Burke's is near the top of my list. I want to try their 75 day dry aged ribeye but it's not available all the time. Bunch of good steak houses there though so something might change between now and then.

I'm a big fan of all those nicer steak houses. The steaks are usually pretty damn good but the service is what you're paying for. Smith and Wollensky's is like that and so is Mitchell's. Probably not as well known but Ruth's Chris has a killer cheeseburger. At least the one in downtown Atlanta does. I went to Atlanta through work a couple of times and stayed at the Embassy there that has a Ruth's Chris in the lobby. Room service Ruth's Chris was pretty kick ass. Pretty expensive burger but was damn good. I'm a burger guy though...love them....and will order those if I'm not in the mood for a full steak dinner. Steak houses in general usually have a good burger. Texas Roadhouse is another one that has a good burger and Columbus Brewing has a good one also.

me and the wife just went there last weekend for the first time. It wasn't bad. I had a few problems with it but I left full so mission accomplished. It's overpriced and I found one of the meats I liked but could never find the guy that had that skewer it seemed like and by the time he showed back up I was full of lamb chops. Other than that it was unique and good. Of course after we went someone told us about the place downtown and that it was better and not as expensive.

looks like some cool games in there....spent a lot of money on that shit back when I was a kid. There used to be an older black and white game called Stunt Cycle. I played the shit out of that thing. Off road used to also be one of my favorites.

although I have several questions about this.... I guess the one that puzzles me the most is what does she do with this wet pissy thing when she's done?

I could've saved them a ton of money on that survey. I'm no research guy from the University of California but I'm also not a veterinarian and I know a horses ass when I smell one. They want to spend money on something?......tell me how a blind man knows when to stop wiping his ass.

they make high heat paints for bbq's. I use it on mine every few years. I would also look for a food grade barrel.

sounds like she has nothing better to do......since it's pretty obvious you two are never going to be sitting around drinking beer together I would make it my personal goal to make her life hell. I would read that HOA rule book cover to cover and know exactly what's allowed and what isn't and then get on the edge of breaking every one of them. That would be the legal shit that I told everyone I did. Some of the things I wouldn't tell anyone are..... I would sneak over in the middle of the night and spray round up on their yard, I would put dog shit in their mailbox....scratch that.....I would put my own shit in their mailbox, and if they mow their own grass I would spray paint rebar green and drive it into their lawn just below grass height. The list goes on and on. She would wish she never met me by the time I was finished.

a hard well placed kick right behind the rib cage would leave that bastard sucking for air.

nothing about this video gives me the impression any good ideas were floating around that day

that's a bad ass chevy right there.....towing that ford from on top of the trailer.

depends on the place for me and who's putting the food together. You can usually tell if it's a server doing it so in that case I'll tip but on carry out I don't do 20%.....couple bucks usually. The whole idea of tipping has gotten out of hand. Servers expect it but just like any industry there are people who just aren't good at it. There's really only 2 ways to let them know they're not good at it. Tell them verbally or tell them with the tip. Tips are not guaranteed money. I don't go into a place looking for a reason not to tip and I'll even rationalize whether it was the servers fault or the kitchens fault when leaving a tip. You can usually tell. I also don't have a problem with leaving a crappy tip for crappy service.

I will never understand this fad. Why not just use camo duct tape?

I need some RR ties myself......I've seen a pile next to some tracks in a small town out here that's been there for years but have no idea who to ask.

didn't say what kinda music you're into......I listen to just about anything out there really. Been into the red dirt Texas stuff the last couple of years. This guy is probably my favorite of that group. I'm going to Chicago in December to see him up there. That's as close as he gets to here. white trash story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxG9r7fheBQ white trash story: the deuce -

Had me until they mentioned the $1200 price tag.......no thanks. -
that's the only other truck other than my duramax I'd like to own. If I ever buy out of the GM family it's going to be a megacab truck. Although the long bed would be nice to have when hauling the 5er I'm not sure I'd want to deal with all that length on a daily basis. The turning radius of that truck has to be terrible.
