what did it say?

Thanks guys....those will help. It's just to dick around on so there's no way to justify that much for it. Office is the same way although much cheaper that photoshop. In the past I've always just downloaded what I need but like I say.....been trying not to do that anymore but at these prices they make it tough. I'll give those links a try & see if those will work for me.
-
didn't have it......decided to look on ebay for it. Holy Shit!!! I can't believe how much photoshop goes for. I don't do the download thing anymore (haven't in years) but the price of all this stuff is making me re-think my position on that.

I'm generally not a political type person....just can't get into it. I did however read that article and agree with him that we must abide by what the UN decides. That's the whole reason for it. We can't just do what we want. Not to mention I think if you ask most of the people in this country no one here wants another war with some piss ant country over there.

Thats a good price. If they bounce too much you could probably stop it by putting a 1x4 on edge across the bottom & shoot a few screws through it. Might not be to bad though & most people probably dont even worry about it too much. I hate bounce & i hate boards that have too much clear on them & slide real bad.
-
I would make sure they're birch top and 3/4" preferably. If not you may have bouncing issues. Also make sure the bags are regulation size and actual corn and not the beads. I know it may not be a big deal to some but I know the guys I play with would give me a ton of shit if I showed up with bouncing boards and fake bags.

cool....I think I have CS5 here somewhere

Is the newest photoshop the only one that works with windows 8? Any shareware or freeware out there that can accomplish the same job photoshop does that's compatible?

breaking bad is about the only new one that I watch. I watch criminal minds, cis, and white collar because my wife records them. Not bad series. I do however dvr and watch all the old series that are on during the day. Watched all of the waltons and am now on Frasier....there's like 6 a day that show so it won't take long to go through that series. King of Queens ranks pretty high on my list because he's a funny dude. I got into Vikings last winter....that's a pretty damn good series too.

I myself would prefer to give someone cash and always do. It's easier for me and people need to face the fact that 99% of the people getting married want cash. I realize the spot your in because people are basically stupid and don't get it but I would look at it this way. If you offend them and they don't come to your wedding you save the money it would've cost to feed them and get their thin skinned ass drunk......same as a cash gift in my book.

there's a place out here in Lancaster that sells it. They only sell by the sheet though so it's pretty expensive. I'll get the name of it and post it up. You can call and ask them how much. I went there for some stuff last year and they just happened to have a piece laying around and cut me a deal on it. Worth asking.

Denver is going to be tough to beat this year. Their D started off kinda slow but picked it up later in the game. They did all that without Miller....when he gets back it's only going to get worse from there. The only way they don't win that division is if their plane crashes and if it's after week 7 or 8 they might still win it. There's a bunch of other decent match ups this weekend. I'm only interested in one though really. Saints open at home against Atlanta. Failclowns have some weapons and a better RB this year so it should be a good game. Saints D looks to be a little better than last year which isn't saying a whole bunch really but I'm not sure Rob Ryan has really shown his hand much in the preseason. A lot of vanilla base stuff and hardly any blitzing. I know Drew is going to light them up with Payton being back. It just comes down to if our D can get off the field and not give up 800 yards.

just a guess but I'm going to say because he golfs like shit

are you doing a vertical barrel or horizontal? Are they the sealed type or do they have lids on one end?

I'll have to look but it's off an 06 so they're at least 7 years old. I know technically tires should only be good for about 6 or something like that but someone will want it I'm sure
-
I never even thought about that. Delete this guys. I'm putting these at the feed store here so they're not even for sale on the board. I want them to be local so my son can make the sign, collect the money, & what not. I'm just not sure what he should ask. I'll just have him shoot for $50.
-
I took the spare out a couple of years ago and it's just been sitting in the shed. My son is saving money for a new set of drums so I've been helping him out by giving him stuff to do that lets him earn money. I told him if he dug that tire out and cleaned it up I'd take it off the rim and he can sell it at the feed store here in town ( I know the guy that runs it and he'll let us put it up there). Not sure what the tire is worth as an un-used spare. It's a bridgestone (245/75/16) e-rated tire and is $196 through tire rack and $193 at discount tire. I'm thinking like $50 since the cheapest e-rated tire I saw was $103. Think I should try to get him $75 out of it? When you're 10 the extra $25 feels like a fortune. I just don't know if a 7 year old spare is really worth that and more importantly if anyone will pay that. It's only worth as much as someone will pay for it at the end of the day.

agreed.....that 98 pcm deal is a leftover internet thing from the days of ls1edit and when hptuners first come out and didn't offer 98 tuning. That just gets handed down from generation to generation on the boards by people that's never tuned either.

I used to drink sweet tea exclusively but with the diet I think I've had just a couple glasses the last 6 months. That's been the hardest thing about the diet is giving up my tea. Just too much sugar which is empty calories and I can't do tea unsweetened. Damn....now I'm sounding like a woman. Must be contagious.

OP.....sell that hood separate and make a few extra dollars that way. If I had NBM I would swap you hoods plus cash pretty quick like.....I'm sure others would too.
-
case in point......I had to look that up.

the problem will be making the screw. I have to find something that I can key onto the shaft of the motor that I can grind to a point. Ideally it'd be awesome to find something that's pointed already. I've seen where people then make the "threads" with an angle grinder but I believe I would go at it a little differently. If I can find something pointed that keys onto the shaft my plan is to make my threads by welding a piece of wire spiraled up it and then use the angle grinder to clean them up and shape the threads. A lathe would awesome to have but I don't have one of those laying around so I'll have to improvise. After that I would mount the motor to a plate and weld that to a 2" bull cock and use the receiver on the truck.

that would be awesome.....where at in Columbus are you? You like BBQ? I could trade you some BBQ for it.

Anyone know where there are any good junkyards at? I'm not talking for car parts....I'm talking like scrap metal, random non-car parts, and shit like that. I'd like to find a fairly decent sized electric motor. I want to make a screw type log splitter. I'd also thought about trying to find a hydraulic cylinder to make a hydraulic splitter too but the screw type would be the simplest to make. I just don't know where to look for the motor at and haven't seen a decent junkyard in years. I could also use some various pieces of scrap metal.
