  1. Milestone 229 downtown. Parking at a meter is less than $1. Great food and a beautiful view of the river and downtown.
  2. Damn, seems like a great deal. GLWS, Grrg!
  3. I think we've finally found a productive use for Kerry here at CR! :gabe: I would love to see that El Camino cleaned up...and it's going to have to have a Pro-Touring/Stanced lowering job to make a 6" chop work from a visual aspect...but I love that it's got T-Tops too. Really neat find. Honestly, if that thing was closer to Columbus I would love to see how it was done in person. The door window takes a wierd radius at the top where it meets the back edge of the T-top...wonder how that's finished. Pavers on the ground makes me guess that it's sitting outside/under a carport??? Does anyone build a garage/car barn and floor it in pavers? Wait...someone who makes/commissions a 6" chopped-and-T-Topped Chevelle would.
  4. http://www.realmenrealstyle.com/build-interchangeable-wardrobe/ Carl, thank you very much for this article. While I've been wearing suits for nearly every business day since 2001, my personal style has evolved only in the last few years. As a cheap-a$$, I took Mike's (ShowHBK) stance on casual or business-casual clothing until my wife drug me out to Nordstrom Rack for the first time 2-3 years ago. I still balked at $40-$100 jeans over my trusty-but-rough $20 Old Navy specials. My shirts were whatever cheapies I could get. I still didn't know a lot of finer points of style until I started opening up to friends and family.... THIS ARTICLE MAKES IT EASY. I'm still in a t-shirt and jeans/shorts for most outdoor weekend events, but a little style-sense helps you look better, feel better, and simplify your wardrobe every day. Again, I know this is a car forum , but a little effort here will pay off for a lot of guys.
  5. Aren't you supposed to be buying a 1974 Ford F100 first?
  6. Chrysler K-car Minivan door handles!!!1!1 Seriously, if it had a splash of pink graphics and some Prime wheels, traveled back in time... it would fit right into a 1991 Street Machine car show. http://www.primewheel.com/prime_wheels.aspx

  8. The headlamp assemblies on that blue Mustang...it's really nagging me where I've seen them before (with the "cut" upper corner) but I can't remember the car... EDIT: I stared at it long enough 1990-93 Honda Accord. http://consumerguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/90802041990211.jpg
  9. I'm in no rush, but if Joe got my rod/reel I'd just meet up with him.
  10. LOL! I have the Aisin kit right now to do our 2010 Odyssey EX-L. I've got 110k miles... Wanna wrench party?

http://jalopnik.com/elio-motors-says-it-needs-376-million-to-fund-producti-1794816478 It's interesting how - when you don't have a product or service to sell - the expenses keep piling up.
  12. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2017/04/2017-hyundai-elantra-sport-review-best-version-best-hyundai/ Brand new $20k turbo sedan with a stick and a warranty? #canthandlethev8
  13. Volunteers of America receive second-hand donations from "My Brothers' Closet" (mens) and "Dress for Success" (womens). I can tell you that VoA has some pretty nice, lightly worn, labels that you'd want to wear. I'd do Petrolbox or DSC for simpler consumables but I wouldn't want some random clothes every month guaranteed that you may not like sometimes. +100. If I shop in a physical store, I start at Nordstrom Rack>>Clearance sections, and move up from there. Also, the suits they have for $300 are comparable to JoseBanks for less money. Also, I think it was Kinja/Gawker that did a "Top 5 Men's Jeans" poll a couple of months ago...IIRC, 4 of the 5 are sold through Nordstrom and I got a pair at NR for less than $40.
  14. Stopped by for a bit to give my 5yo son a taste of Dyno Day. Cool to still see the old shop bringing people in! Always good to see a lot of CR old heads around as well.
  15. Wow! Can't believe I put passengers' side! Yes, Gerg...it was both drivers' side wheels. I did hear back from ODOT that the highway there is part of City of Columbus. Will file a new claim with them today.
  16. Oh, shit...that's a badass Termi convertible...
  17. Tommy HATES doing these events, he told me.....but he absolutely loved our group. I couldn't ask for a nicer compliment. Thanks for everyone who came out. We're already talking about doing it again in the fall...stay tuned.
  18. Thank you everyone that supported this showing. We have 2 tickets left and I really am very happy we'll have a 130-seat theater filled. Looking forward to seeing folks at 8pm for the movie! Theater #11 at AMC Lennox. There will be a table in the lobby to check in. Enjoy!
  19. A guy flees in a car...cops Pit-maneuver him to stop. Hoodlum chooses a bike to outrun cager cops. Rider is an idiot. If you're going to outrun cops, pick a road that you know better without roundabouts. Not sure what broke inside that bleeding-vajayjay-with-dreadlocked-pubes head, but I'd STFU when arguing with Eastern European cops after trying to evade them on a Ninja 250...
  20. Thanks, Adam! That covered all the questions Tricia asked me over the phone. Will be checking my email for a status update on my claim. I mentally shit the bed...if that's such a thing.
  21. Sucks to hear, Wags. I feel for ya. All I can say is that I certainly wish you the best of luck in managing this!
  22. Dropped order for carport with Kurt @ Absolute Steel. Total is $1994 shipped to my door, 50% down to start the manufacturing process. Roof will be painted steel: "Hickory Moss" on the top, white underside. Should be delivered in a month. Have a ton of family stuff going on through the weekend but will focus on digging tubes for "ground mounting" the steel pilings when they arrive in the next week or so.
  23. FYI: the number I called was not the right one, but someone named Tricia called me back and got a claimed started. That was a lot faster than I expected. Apparently they will review the area where it happened and determine whether it's an ODOT, municipality, or construction zone...then one of those parties will respond to the claim. Will keep CR updated.
  24. Hey, guys...did a quick search and didn't come up with anything specific... I was just driving downtown from UA, Rt. 315 southbound across the 33 bridge and the Franklinton floodwall when I hit the bridge expansion joint and totally blew out both passenger side tires. Honestly, I've had tires blow out, airbags blow in the Lincoln, and sketchy weather emergencies (ice, rain, snow) but this was one of the scariest recoveries. My mind didn't even register, I wish I had a dashcam...my hands corrected-overcorrected-corrected in a split second as I was yawing on 315 thought I was gonna lose it... http://www.imgur.com/L0LCMzkl.jpg http://www.imgur.com/wciyHVAl.jpg Anyway, had it flatbedded back to my house and tried to refill the rear wheel = hissing around the beads. Tried to refill the front wheel and hissing like it was in a can or tunnel. UH OH...check between the spokes and sure enough, there's a ruptured crack on the inside wheel barrell. So, looks like at least 2 tires, with a front wheel. The StateFarm "Road Angel" safety dude gave me a "Communications Department" number of 614.466.7303, and I left a message with some guy named Andy's VM. I want to be sure to file any sort of claim I can to receive compensation for the wheel/tire damage. The StateFarm guy said that they've had problems with that stretch of highway anyway but he's not officially able to help anyway. Has anyone done this process who can help guide me where to start and go from here? Thanks as always, CR!
