  1. That looks Euro (slim bumpers, cloth interior, steering wheel) I'm a big W126 fan so of COURSE I approve of your new car. Congrats!!!
  2. That is a seriously solid value...but if there was ANY modified Mustang I'd want to retain the warranty on, it'd be for the Ecoboost 4-cyl. I trust modern engineering, but nearly doubling the HP on an already stressed 2.3L sounds like a gamble.
  3. Update: I got a Harbor Freight flyer in the mail, listing a 1750psi pressure washer for $79.99 http://m.harborfreight.com/1750-psi-13-gpm-electric-pressure-washer-63254.html I washed my V, BMW, and the wife's Odyssey. I have to say I like the unit very much at the price. Lot of useful features and it's good quality. Not enough power to get brake fluid up from asphalt, but car duties are well-served by this thing.
  4. Geebus Chrust, Matt!!! Those last pics are unbelievable. I'd have to guess that if you could replicate them they'd go for beaucoup bucks...
  5. Itty bitty bed, but a nice tee-ruk nonetheless. Congrats. Chrome step bars say that the previous owner was 50 going on 75years old.
  6. Ohhhhhhhh man...sooooooo much fucking want. A/C works and room for 4? :fuuuu::fuuuu::fuuuu:
  7. If I'm not using Kevin Clifford, I'm going to Rife's. Full Stop. Insurance $$$ is repairing your car...I don't think any company does a better job.
  8. Was wondering if I can get a cheap front-end alignment on Cleetus as well...
  9. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/don-rickles-dead-legendary-comic-was-90-720153 I just heard Howard Stern talking about Rickles, and I still remember how great his appearance was with Seinfeld on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. This guy was a MASTER of wit and comedy timing. In a day and age where 'excellence' is spread around all too easily, RIP to one of the truly great entertainers.
  10. Oh man...that's a heck of a hit, Tim! Glad you're OK but that's going to be quite a repair. BMW doesn't look too bad. Can't believe the damage to your F/R door and lower quarter panel...
  11. Casey, you know I'm a fan of 'verts. At least a convertible 5g solves one of the bigger problems with the Camaro: outward visibility.
  12. Road & Track did a nice article on the V6 1LE this month, and it's still less than 5 seconds 0-60. I can't imagine how the V8 is. I've been a loud antagonist of the 5g Camaro, but in true GM style I have to give credit to GM for improving the 6g Camaro significantly. The Mustang still looks 10x better, but the Camaro is definitely a comprehensive package.
  13. Scare-A-Torium has had escape rooms for the last couple of years but admittedly it won't be open until September. They redo them each year and they're very good.
  14. Felony murder. "The rule of felony murder is a legal doctrine in some common law jurisdictions that broadens the crime of murder: when an offender kills (regardless of intent to kill) in the commission of a dangerous or enumerated crime (called a felony in some jurisdictions), he/she is guilty of murder." She drove the robbers there, and was the planned getaway driver. They died committing the crimes. She's responsible for their deaths.
  15. i'll figure it out, Matt. Still trying to see if there's a gofundme or something to buy tickets. SUGGESTIONS WELCOME
  16. https://m.facebook.com/events/1049518025180484?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%223%22%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D&aref=3&ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_activity Hey, guys...Scott (Sledhead36) is friends with Tommy Byrne, and wanted to host a private showing of his documentary. Tommy's going to be in town at the end of April and will be happy to introduce the film and chat with guys afterwards. I know some of you know Tommy as a driving instructor at Mid-Ohio as well. I put it on FB but I want to stress to you, my CR family , that we are NOT doing this to make money. It will be about $1000 for 100-150 seat theater. If you could spread the word to any of your racing-enthusiast buddies, it would be appreciated. The more people we have, the cheaper tickets will be! I have not seen the film, but Rotten Tomatoes gave it 100%. That's high praise. I'm wondering if it's going to be better than Senna. Thank you!
  17. Cuz I be... ROLLIN' IN MY HANG-YA . . . With e'erbody sayin' Swing down, sweet hangzhou stop, and... LET ME RIIIIIDE...
  18. I've got a gallon of Corroseal...just got it from Amazon.
  19. This one is cheaper, better looking... http://jalopnik.com/for-6-000-will-this-1971-lincoln-continental-mark-iii-1793815404 I just checked on the Lincoln in storage yesterday. It has sat since December with no battery tender. Fired right up. Love this car. I connected the tender and looking forward to getting her out in a couple weeks. http://i.imgur.com/Idl0aVtl.jpg
  20. You can smack a motorcycle plate on it and take your chances, but if it doesn't have papers the BMV can use to issue you registration, your SOL. I've got a Dirt Bug/Doodle Bug I've ridden around UA in but I wouldn't go on a main road like traffic has to treat me like one of their own.
