  1. So....nothing happening in the Ackerman/OSU parking lot anymore? I know they built that medical building. It was fun to watch so close to my home.
  2. If a dog could be financed for a new-home purchase, Marc would find a way to get it done. Brutus probably has a better credit score than half of CR anyway. :gabe:
  3. Thanks, Mike! Personally, I would've loved to learn about systems and try to build something myself but these days, there's just too much to know and even more knowledge to do it well and on-the-cheap. I don't have much interest in a gaming rig...however I will let you know if I ever need to build one!
  4. Yes for QS&L Polaris. Also, just keep an eye on the Meetings and Events section as the season warms up...even with all of the FB posting locally for car guys, you'll come to find we will post up where the good car hangouts should be on Fri/Sat nights.
  5. Welcome from another 'vert fan! Your 240sx is pretty damn straight. Hope to meet you at CC&C sometime!
  6. I've flown in and out of John Glenn (nee Port Columbus) in the last several years the weekend of the Arnold, and it's comical seeing some of the people walking around. I envision a cartoon where some huge meathead has to walk sideways out of the plane, squeezing through it the whole way. That said, I am proud that such a unique event has become so successful and really is a great draw for the city. Seriously, there are a lot of people and business interest that represent. Could be worse groups...I'll never forget there was some cosplay convention in Pittsburgh when I was there for business, and the kids walking the streets were ridic looking.
  7. Everyone that supported Trump as the "anti-establishment" candidate saw him take on the media and they fed off the fervor. Now, Trump actually has the power and influence to make changes as he sees fit - it's no surprise he's painting all media with the same fecal paintbrush. I do empathize with the majority of journalists that work hard, and sacrifice their own lives and reputations, to expose the truth domestic and abroad. I saw that diagram earlier and I too scoff at CNN being middle-of-the-ground (if Fox News is to the right) but moreover think of the BBC, NPR, Economist, Bloomberg sources I use every day of my life and appreciate the coverage from a global perspective that far too many Americans are sorely lacking in their daily news feed.
  8. Thank you, Mike! I appreciate your techie skillz. I'm going to let him down easily that you need a gaming rig to play something like this...and then I'll need to explain to a 5-year old what a "gaming rig" is.
  9. My 5-year old son is very interested in this game. We have a iMac as the home computer, and it seems like this program is very memory-intensive. I try to not buy any programs, because there is enough good content for free these days. Anyone have experience with this game? Looking for recommendations on this or other similar modern driving simulators. Thanks!
  10. I love the subtle body styling of that car...soooooo clean. That "RX7 Track Car" sticker is funny as well.
  11. +1...everything Doc said. Congratulations, Ant and Tina! That's a great car.
  12. Not gonna lie... http://jalopnik.com/the-2018-ford-fiesta-st-is-your-new-three-cylinder-turb-1792711087 That Euro (2-door) Fiesta ST looks goooooooooooood...
  13. Biggest reasons for me are that I don't need a pressure washer that much or that often (for big, 3000psi jobs). Good gas pressure washers are more money and a lot more space in the garage. Lastly, the electric pressure washers don't require as much maintenance. I have family with pressure washers for bigger jobs (like blasting concrete or stucco) but all I need on a regular basis is an electric one.
  14. That works for me. Someone's Making America Great Again... THANKS TRUMP
  15. It's never going to happen. MADD/Police unions and support groups won't let that form of identification go away in case of an accident/hit-n-run. I'd PAY MORE not to have a front plate (Lord knows I've gotten 6 or more no-front-plate tickets at downtown parking meters over the last several years), but I'd be shocked if this got through.
  16. Dual A-pillar spotlights HHHNNNNNNNGGGHHHHHHHH Slam that bitch, tint the windows, gut the exhaust and put the fattest rubber you can on the factory steelies. :leghump:
  17. I love Hostas as well. They are NO maintenance, and grow anywhere (sun, shade). I also like ferns for shaded areas. They take a couple of years to get started but once they're off they look great. My daylily's are already sprouting. So are my tulips.
  18. With this wacky mild winter we're having, I'm sure we're all noticing sprouts as ground plants/flowers think it's spring. For the foreseeable short- and medium-term forecast, temps over 40degrees seems to be the norm. Should I go ahead and fertilize my lawn? Is it OK to at least plant some seeds or get seedlings started? Was looking to divide and transplant some Hostas once they grow, and start some cold-hardy yuccas. I'm less worried about a cold spell and more of a hot/dry summer cutting short the growing season. Thoughts?
  19. I was in my BMW, but I got there closer to 10:30 because of family schtuff.
  20. There are over 100 on FB. There are another 40+ pics coming up on Tuesday. Mark my words: this "winter" may get cold again, and it may snow between now and April...but this President's Day weekend won't soon be forgotten for how nice it's been!
  21. That's Florida for me. If you're not using greenbacks or shrimp for bait, the fish just don't bite. AJ (acklac) on here gave me some great lure options as ideas, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet... Will be fishing first week of March. I really have grown to love the pastime.
  22. I've seen Hoblick's truck in person. You gotta get CLOSE to see where the 206k worth of wear-and-tear is on the exterior...it's damn clean. Should give years of service to the next owner! I would love a new Cleetus with A/C, but I would only buy an 8ft bed.
  23. Their stock is between 45 and 50 cents a share...crazy stuff.
