Pics? Was looking at some $279 gold 18s for the minivan. http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-5x120-Rims-Gold-Fits-BMW-Acura-135-325-Z3-Polished-Lip-318-328-3-Wheels-/232158499242?hash=item360db991aa:g:eP8AAOSwEjFXdqhl&vxp=mtr

I set up a Cols Cars & Coffee DriveTribe, but I'm sitting on the "Complete the Registration Process" emails... Anyone want to play around with this on our group's behalf?

Bob, can this role be done at home?

If that's the case, that's a waste of Trump's time considering the number of tweets he makes in a day. Are there any apps that allow you to talk-to-text a message that then gets converted to a 140-character Tweet-friendly message? I'm not saying he's not doing ANY tweeting himself, but with that many followers, you'd think there are at least 1-2 people on his team that he's talking to for Twitter content they type out...
-
That's a good point... he barely uses a computer. There's no way that Trump is typing his Twitter comments. I'm certain he's paying attention to the news, and barking his opinions to someone who then crafts a 140-character response that is coherent. That's how I would do it.

Brandon, cool starry bra...and I couldn't agree more with your comments. Here's the thing that I can't reconcile in my head: it's 70% fake (at minimum - think of bots and people who are like Brandon's girl story above), yet people make more than 75% of their life and self-esteem revolve around it. Scary stuff... I get that at it's best, social media sites are a great way to low-cost promote a business, and scale up marketing as that business grows...but it's too bad that people are so caught up in the mix without the ability to ever get to a point where it matters (like micro-influencer, as the article points out). Full disclosure - I play the game as well, albeit I'm on FB/IG less than 30-40 min a day, and unless it's my own post, I'm not following much outside of my own social sphere.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2016-11-30/confessions-of-an-instagram-influencer I struggle with understanding and adopting the ever-changing social-media landscape. Respecting Bloomberg as a news source, I appreciate the detail the author went into to change his own Instagram presence. Fascinating insight (for me) into bots and how this whole business around social media feeds off of itself.

Great detail, Wags! Though I don't drag race, 100% agree it's great to see even ONE racetrack putting this much effort into redoing their track in Ohio.

Watch out for flood-damaged cars. The used market makes me nervous, after all the storms/flooding from earlier this year (OH/KY/WV, Southeast, west of the Rockies)

HOT ROD Did that article. The icing on the top was that when they pulled the engine apart they found out it was a 4.8L!

Well played. Wait...I'm not deaf...

You don't get sympathy if you don't define your pain to the world.
-
You beat me to it, Tim ...was trying to delete my post because while it gives good insight to how I view the world and act on a daily basis, I don't care what the response is from Kerry or anyone else.

How does understanding the motives of one lone-wolf help you prevent future events? He's dead. What have you learned that helps bridge the gap between us and our enemies in this situation? Seems like a lot of mental masturbation. No wonder you're tired of typing.
-
How is your learning about his cause helping you be better prepared for dealing with "his kind"? I'm not following this statement.

Thank goodness you've been telling CR to straighten-up and not be a bunch of racist hate-mongers. You saved this young Somalian man's life!!!! Oh wait.... http://cdn32.sptndigital.com/sites/uk.tinypop/files/styles/image_1170x658/public/ct_series_f_primary_image/carebears_show_0.jpg Seriously, I don't get libs: care until your heart bleeds, then take that pain and blame others for not acting. The faults of the world are YOUR responsibility...and arguing with car guys on a private internet forum is your calling to serve the world? I'm sure there are some Reddit channels that need your help, Don Quixote...

So, what will you do with this information? Go and campaign for other disenfranchised Muslims in Columbus and try to actively sympathize? The problem with you and most liberals in this country is the currency they feel is earned by thinking/sharing without action, and then the universal acceptance society should place on this earned liberal caring currency. The world doesn't operate that way. I don't care about the attacker or his cause anymore than his family, roommate, friends care about me. Blanket platitudes are worthless when the world throws it around so freely. You criticize people on this board for predicating statements with "I'm not a racist BUT..." when you hypocritically do it yourself in the above statement. YES, we know you lack enlightenment to understand this situation, AND on top of that you pass judgment on others for their feelings. Great way to not achieve a goal for yourself, and knock others around you. Myself and others on CR that have taken(some say wasted?) the time to read your commentary - often when you acknowledge you take counterpoints just to have fun - will find it hard to swallow that you truly care or take actions to improve the world around you when it's clearly easier to pontificate online instead. You're not the little Dutch boy with his fingers in the dike, Kerry. Please don't talk about saving anyone when your ACTIONS in the past have proven to be nothing more than words. You are perceived to be a troll, and until actions prove otherwise, very few on this board will see you in any other light.

Thanks for the heads-up! GQ Edition, LOL. Hey, if you're going to get one, doe... http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=43220&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D43220%26showcaseOwnerId%3D0%26mmt%3D%255BFIAT%255B%255D%255B%255D%255D%26startYear%3D2014%26makeCode1%3DFIAT%26vehicleStyleCodes%3DCONVERT%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2014%26transmissionCode%3DMAN%26searchRadius%3D0%26makeCodeList%3DFIAT%26transmissionCodes%3DMAN&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=2014&numRecords=25&makeCode1=FIAT&vehicleStyleCodes=CONVERT&firstRecord=0&endYear=2014&searchRadius=0&listingId=437226794&makeCode1=FIAT&modelCode1=FIAT500 Can't hate that much...there was an Etienne Aigner-edition 1991 Volkswagen Cabriolet with a stick near my condo in Naples for $5k...yes, it's a bitch-basket, but that red-wine-color and interior...
-
Tim...For a guy who doesn't care, it sounds like you care a whole lot. :gabe: If it ain't my family, friends, business or a few benefits...I say fuck'em. Not enough time/care available to me to make a difference outside of what I already do.
-
I will also criticize Kerry and anyone who openly "feels sorry for the attacker". Any sympathy I had to that kid ended the moment he decided to pull off a coordinated attack on students at HIS school by pulling a fire alarm and flooring the gas in that Civic... Life can be tough...yes. But does anyone realize that Columbus has one of the highest per-capita concentration of Somalis in the USA? Really, this kid couldn't find friends or at LEAST some sort of community/support group with other Muslims on campus, or nearby? People he can share with, and help manage his inner conflict? THIS was the path he felt called to act? I call this a hate crime.
-
Whew! What a morning so far! Kerry, I see what you're trying to communicate: you aren't implicitly saying people are racist, but in their anger at a situation when racist things come out, they SOUND or are at least ACTING racist. Still, I don't think they care about your analysis of their feelings. Tim, I heard Mike Huckabee use that jellybean analogy (or maybe apples) on the campaign trail and I have to agree with Kerry - that is the dumbest analogy, created so people who live out on a farm can justify their hatred. No one wants to eat a poopy apple, so let's throw out the whole bowl of jellybeans like GRAMPA USTA DO...:dumb: RADICAL Islamic terrorism is currently a global problem, and I agree that the media perpetuates the stereotype. If it's not gun-related, CNN doesn't care. I'm curious how the trial of Dylann Roof is going to go, since he's decided to act as his own attorney. Quite frankly, that a self-proclaimed white supremacist killed 9 black people in a church gives me pause to examine how we're labeling people in society today. OSU happened right smack in the middle of this reminder to me. ISIS are a bunch of cowards. To call out for followers to commit lone-wolf knife attacks is not a coordinated show of force on a global scale. I hope they DON'T label OSU a terrorist event specifically to take power away from that call ISIS made. Watch the movie "Zebrahead"...kids of all races/creeds/religions flipped out on college campuses more frequently than we'd care to recognize in the last 50 years...this smells the same. Everyone forget about this guy? >>> http://www.10tv.com/article/video-released-port-columbus-airport-fatal-shooting

Not a Costco member... Cool deal, doe. Thanks for the heads-up.

Wow. I care little about sports in general, but from what I've gathered following OSU this season NCAA would be foolish to keep 1-loss OSU out of the playoffs after OSU/Michigan scored the highest TV ratings all-season long. You know dancing...I know business: that sort of attention means money, and you'd be stupid to shut down that stream of eyeballs focused on how OSU standings interacts with other teams still playing post-season. If I'm wrong, you can ban me from this thread.
