  1. https://www.facebook.com/events/541400996000170/ Jordan, sorry about Friday night...I wouldn't be surprised if people on CR were going out opening night...
  2. Wow. $1MM+ gated communities with dock access LOL.
  3. Thanks for the heads-up. This was for a buddy of mine who also had a fridge die on him (hence my ask this morning) Good luck to your buddy!
  4. Grrg, you were in CB all morning...:gabe:
  5. I'll pick it up, Steve. Thanks! PM me your cell and we can text...
  6. Is this still available by chance?
  7. ^^That's hot. HBD, mang.
  8. +1. That's what I was thinking. He gets winded walking up a long flight of stairs. I think the thought of taking a swing at someone would exhaust Clarkson. He is a big dude, though...and I recognize in any corporate setting that physical violence of any sort is not tolerated.
  9. I have a fraternity brother that works for BSH (Bosch/Siemens/Hoover) in Tennesee. When I get married in 2002, dude brought a Hoover bagless upright - out of the box but brand new - put it in the wedding gift pile and smacked a bow on it. I was like "uhhh, thanks?" That Hoover went through a lot of Weimaraner hair and three different houses in over 12 years before it just started wearing out. Indeed, greatest vacuum ever. I touch base with him every so often and I jokingly ask him for another vacuum.
  10. Awesome ending indeed. Love how squirrelly these tee-ruks are on the asphalt!
  11. https://www.amctheatres.com/business Sooo...we're still a little ways out to find out the movie showings on 4/4, but I'm assuming there's an 11am-12pm showing somewhere. I am NOT going to be on the hook for tickets, but I'll put something on the CC&C Facebook page for anyone interested. Worst case scenario, peeps just pay full price and we'll carve out part of the theater.
  12. 4/4...NEVER FORGET It would be Saturday. Correct.
  13. I've gotten a couple of requests to have a private screening of Fast and Furious 7 after Cars and Coffee on April 3rd. I forget who put this together last time, but despite me thinking it was silly, there were over 100 people that showed up at AMC Lennox for a noon showing and they really enjoyed it. Anyone on here have experience reserving a theater like that?
  14. WITHIN REASON, I swerve onto shoulders, other lanes (when it's clear) just to avoid potholes. I don't care if I get pulled over for wandering off-lane. On Sunday, I was driving Cleetus on Bethel, maybe doing 35mph. I hit a pothole that wasn't there a few weeks ago so hard, it bump-steered me almost up the concrete median between eastbound/westbound lanes. First time that ever happened to me. Thud was incredibly loud and I'm glad I had a hand firmly on the wheel because I immediately corrected before I jumped the berm. That could've been really bad if I wasn't paying attention...which is silly because there's always something in that old tee-ruk that commands your attention whilst driving. No damage to the snow tire (Firestone Winterforce FTW) but I appreciate this thread: potholes are no f**king joke. Be careful out there!
  15. I initially thought that, but the black door handles and rubstrip tie in the wheels and mirrors nicely, along with the front bumper and lower lip. That's it. Whereas the chrome roofrack, window vents, and factory tail/liftgate tie in some brightwork. If you wanted to paint the tails black, you'd have to chase the rest of the brightwork as well, and that would be an unnecessary hassle. The older, good-condition brightwork gives it more of a retro vibe. Painting it black would cheapen the look, like you're covering up something wrong with the trim.
  16. Looks great!:thumbup::thumbup:
  17. You've got a great neighbor down the street who loves cars.
  18. That's cool. Will the engine dictate such a huge cowl hood for clearance, Clarence?
  19. I'm impressed with the manual...and that price seems very reasonable for the amount of car you're getting! Hold onto it for as long as you can; turn that negative[equity] into a positive!
  20. Here's the thing, Carl...the PMD program is a LOT different that the TFA... TFA you're on a team. You're developing yourself and your book, but you're not totally on your own!
  21. I could use a new coat if your Coyote cull is successful. Subscribed.
  22. Sorry for the setbacks, but up close that chassis is worth the efforts...solid as can be! Keep it up! Looking forward to seeing next steps.
