  1. Joe, how did the paint fare? Any regrets to using a cover? I'd take it on and off every so often... Keith, I know about the HF tents but I'd like to avoid that ghetto action for my neighbor's benefit if at all possible...or maybe cut it down so it's a lot lower profile???
  2. I'm looking at moving my 1995 BMW out of the garage for a nicer DD; it will hibernate in the winter and mostly be driven on nice days during the summer. The paint/top/interior are in great shape, and I'd like to keep it that way, especially with regards to sun/snow/rain damage. Does anyone store a car under a cover outdoors here in Ohio, and have recommendations for what to look for and what cover to buy? Figure on $300 or so? Thanks!
  3. I'm in CLeveland for work today but would totally do this if someone set a date with more advanced notice... #AllenEdmondsRacing #JosABanksRacing
  4. http://i.imgur.com/GfRWqs0.jpg Mitch, FWIW I've been working on Cleetus at the same time...need to change out balljoints. It was mutually benefitting us to use the press. Thanks for your generosity!
  5. I've got a 12-ton HF press that's the "CR Bish" at my house you're welcome to use. I live in UA, and am working from home this afternoon.
  6. "Lifemodel" funds (2045 retirement date) suck. Split it 65-35 in a equity fund and a bond fund and be done with it. Chase IRA may allow you to hold stocks instead of preset list of mutual funds. Otherwise, I agree to just keep it in OPERS for now.
  7. Daily specials posted on Facebook/website, and/or go at Happy Hour (which is 7 days a week).
  8. Friend said it MAY have been a younger guy that took his stepdad's Viper out. Doesn't look like it was one of the Mopar Nats guys...
  9. Right guys...Tony Stewart may nabber race again. SOMEONE SELL ME SOME 5x5" wheels/tires!!!!
  10. Thanks, Tom...however... - I would only need 2 adapters - I'd rather not spend $138 to get steelies rolling again on a 1982 ford tee-ruk
  11. Of course I looked at adapters! I'm insulted that you would think otherwise! *opens browser*:ninja: *Looks up 5x5 to 5x4.5 hub adapters":fa:
  12. I didn't realize your passenger fender was so banged up
  13. What's a PCD? I'd rather drill 5x5 pattern on the steelies I have... The problem is the 5x5 hubs go on the newer I-beams. If I could put the old 5x4.5 hubs/brakes on I would...
  14. I am in the middle of lowering my 1982 Ford F100 with DJM Dream Beams from a 1995 F150. I'm really happy with the way everything is coming together until I realized that the bolt pattern is different!!! Please let me know if you have a pair (only need the front, the rear is still factory 5x4.5) of Ford 5x5" bolt-pattern E-150 or F-150 15" or 16" steelies with tires. Do not care about the tires as long as they can be driven for a couple of months before I get new tires all around. Thank you!!!
  15. Once you get to Colorado, make sure you keep note of all the little compartments in your Forester. YOU PUT YOUR WEED IN THERE
  16. Hey, Casey...I can't tell from the pics but did your airbags go off? I concur with the others: if you know the history of the car and have a solid dude that can do the work, I'd buy it back from being totaled and rebuild it...fix some other issues with the remaining insurance dollars. I totally agree with Tim's assessment as well; for all the trouble, anything to get YOUR car back to it's original V glory and in your garage is the right thing to do. Also, I got financing approved for a 2007 V I'm looking at but if that falls through I'd be intadested in your rebuilt :ninja: LOL, I was up in Cleveland for business two weeks ago and stopped by the North Coast Auto Mall in Bedford a couple of weeks ago for another car I saw on AutoTrader...walked in, smelled the stale cigarette smoke and saw the "BUY HERE PAY HERE" signage and was all NOPE :dumb::dumb: They run a shitton of cars through that place and the prices are dirty cheap, but I have to believe that most of them are light-damage auction rejects.
  17. Congrats again, Brian! Enjoy the trip and best of luck in Colorado.
  18. I tried to see the feature on NBC4, but there's some B.S. garbage about an Ebola outbreak in C'bus. #WHATEVS
  19. NOOOOOooOOOooOooOoOooooOo http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/gallery/no/angry-no.gif 4 srs, glad no one was hurt...will seriously think twice about texting while driving.
  20. Here's the obligatory :leghump: for being one cool car-loving woman. Welcome to the site! What a great automotive history you and your family has: great string of cars and that 1972 GTO is gorgeous. I'm also trying raise my kids in the car mode. See you at C&C sometime!
