  1. From my non-professional view, my Harbor Freight 170amp, 220v flux-core is a great welder for sheet metal work, but you need to dial the power and wire feed down a lot: flux core tends to run hotter than MIG wire/gas setup. Not sure if the 110v would be much lighter and easier to control... Also, make sure that you get good-quality wire. After reading a lot of reviews, I bought my HF welder and literally threw the flux-core that came in the box deep in a drawer...picked up some Lincoln-Electric wire from the first go. Much less splatter.
  2. Dylan's Bandit has BMW E46 headlights (projector) and "snowflake" wheels... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FoXyvaPSnVk/SvHzns0tfII/AAAAAAACN-s/KOrTwMpXPpQ/s800/Phoenix-TA-Camaro-112456.jpg That first one almost looks like a halogen-light Camaro with a nose job...

  4. Mmm...at least the shots make you think twice about selling DAT SOARER
  5. Love the bikes! Is your s/n Straight Edge? Haven't seen that stuff since high school in the 1990s. Welcome back to the site!

  11. Welcome to the site! I've seen the A3 at CC&C... What brought you out here from NY? I graduated from Niskayuna, between Schenectady and Albany. I've got family/friends on Long Island as well (Bayside/Rockville Center area, Syosset, Southold on the North Fork). Ohio is a great place to live.
  12. LOL, small world...I met him, kind of an impromptu interview when I was a broker. Props...there are worse ways to travel than in a 650S
  13. Wow. BEST LOOKING TOYOBARU YET.:thumbup: (Tied for Doc's, but yours looks very sinister!) Love it!
  14. My mind asplode... On Friday NIGHT, I ordered two wireless lavalier mics and a sound mixer for CC&C...tired of holding the mic when doing interviews and not having it work correctly. Was just outside (Sunday at 12noon) and a USPS Chevy Uplander van flies up my driveway while I'm mowing the lawn. Postal carrier gets out and hands me the Amazon box!!! On a SUNDAY???? Plus, it was a Prime shipment, so it was free! Dude says that Amazon is partnering with the USPS for Sunday/Holiday deliveries. Did anyone else know about this??? The guy says they deliver early morning to late at night, even on holidays. He was dropping off packages on Memorial Day! I think this is a great use of infrastructure for Amazon, and keeps $$$ coming into the USPS...
  15. What year LT1? There were two different Optispark models. I have the factory Opti from my '95 Corvette, swapped it out for a cheap aftermarket one when I started getting knock issues years ago, but it was a totally different issue. I'd need to find mine, but it should be good....
  16. Welcome to the site! Any plans for the Accord? Props for it being a stick...

  22. Which car, Wes? That sucks, man.
  23. Bringing this thread back from the dead to make a point... Within the last couple of months, we've noticed some "dogs" running around at night in our neighborhood. I came home from Sawmill one evening to hear a horrifying noise, and tried to track down a pair of glowing eyes making the shriek. After talking to my neighbors, we ended up finding a family of foxes living in the boulder garden of a neighbor's house. Now, for the last few years we've had a TON of rabbits around our house, pretty much dictating our gardening because anything they eat is decimated. I borrowed an air rifle from Tim (pdqgp) hoping to plug a couple. However, MUCH RESPECT to the foxes, as I've found more than half a dozen skeletons/carcasses of rabbits when I'm mowing my property. SO...props for nature running it's course. For the first time since moving in 2008 I've been able to grow sunflowers and get a garden started. No one is apparently bothered with the foxes so as far as my non-toy-dog-owning house is concerned, they are welcome as long as they'd like. I know red foxes are no coyotes, but we've got a couple of those running around UA as well. Still DGAF
