  1. Welcome to the site! Met Chris this week when he asked to do some photo/videography for CC&C. Anyone that likes 16-Bit is already good in my book...he's a good guy with a lot to offer.

  4. +1. That can have an effect on the value of a response from an OH attorney. My wife does real estate law...

  7. I see that someone watched "Elysium"...
  8. JP, please opine more on Andrew's poor choice of wheels. I think you're starting to win him over. http://www.ducati.ms/forums/attachments/superbikes/52379d1249397484-superbike-wheels-2009-848-gayrims.jpg

  10. Any chance it has working A/C and cruise control? Can't see from the pics...
  11. Friends of my family called up: they have a 1996 Cherokee Country with 194k miles on it. The maintenance has been normal and routine, with not a lot of issues over their ownership. A problem has recently arisen where he will hit a pothole and the whole Jeep will shimmy for 5-6 seconds. If he applies brakes gently, the shimmy goes away. The big thing is this only happens on two parts of the road he normally travels on: at highway speeds, as he rounds a gradual corner, and hits a pothole while still turning. Never any other time he's experienced. He said that all the suspension pieces are up to snuff. I do know years ago a steering linkage that was welded to the front axle broke off and he had to shimmy shimmy shimmy his way to the shop where he had it rewelded to the axle. No problems since then. Please advise!
  12. Blue case, yellow letters...can't tell you how many times my Irwin twist sockets saved me arse.:thumbup: Make sure when you DO get that rounded nut off, you throw it as far as you f**king can and curse the day it screwed with your exhaust project!
  13. If you played before, you should've seen the email from Tom Zimmer yesterday. Please let me know (here or by PM) your email addy so I can add you to the roster.
  14. How about you buy a HF engine stand, use it and my hoist, then give me the stand when you return everything? :gabe:
  15. Intadesting how this conversation has gone... As with everything in the automotive culture we all choose to live in, someone elses' tastes are not shared by me. However, I can appreciate what makes them happy. I still think the car looks great. If the wheels are high-maintenance, then that's Andrew's problem.
  16. I've got an engine hoist you can borrow, Randy... Like this but orange: http://www.harborfreight.com/1-ton-capacity-foldable-shop-crane-69512.html

  18. Guys, we'll do it at Easton. Wheels rollin' at 9am. North lot. I'll put some information on the Facebook page.
  19. Thanks for the story, Casey. I'm sure others can learn from your McSteak... Of course, I have no clue what you're going on about. I've never mis-diagnosed a repair. :ninja:

    Elio

I'm sure they are looking at Tesla's troubles in some states and wondering what the fate of Elio stores would be as well... At least Elon Musk is creating a road map of amiable states/markets for other small-volume manufacturers that want to sell cars out of retail shops...
  21. I'm still amazed how quickly the price of good LED bulbs are becoming. Let alone CFL's...Ohio AEP credit and a 4-pack is $0.25??? I can't make a bowl of cereal for that cheap!

    Elio

Nope. While I'm enthusiastic about brands like this and Tesla, unfortunately I think Elio Motors has a 1 in 3 chance of actually making it to market. Production is delayed until 2015...B'CUZ OF COURSE IT IS.
