  1. http://green.autoblog.com/2014/04/08/tesla-new-small-business-lease-deal-for-model-s/ Oh...those Tesla muhhafuggas are smart. 1) Lease Tesla under your $180/year LLC owning a collection of Beanie Babies. 2) Enjoy pimpity DD, "Greenie" admiration, street cred for blowing doors off M5's. Save money at the pump. 3) File taxes, use lease expense as a personal income writeoff 4) PROFIT If only a fast-charger was included in the price...
  2. Trust me, I'm all about business but this is not trying to make money. However, we are floating some ideas in addition to open-houses and cruises. Kevan's going to find out how much they paid to sponsor Milligan. When I bitched to him that S47 is on his site, Kevan said they had to sponsor "before Wiggs did."
  3. Thanks. That's why I'm asking: I need to do RTAB's and adjustable trailing arms but don't want to mess with anything else until it really needs it. Again, great progress!
  4. Hey, Kale...why didn't you go with poly bushings in the rear suspension?
  5. Scott, there is no way I would associate with ANYONE who sponsors Milligan's group. Just kidding. Kevan introduced me to Craig and Trina, who were very nice to me and let me tour the shop. We'll definitely be doing more with Studio 47 this year...talk of "open-house" mornings where people could meet there, look around, and then cruise together to Cup O'Joe. I'm just gauging interest in a cruise so early in the season given the forecasted weather this weekend. Kevan was going to see if S47 wants to do anything this weekend.
  6. www.columbuscarsandcoffee.net Forecast is for Sunny and 70 degrees...any interest in a cruise from Easton or IPS/Studio 47 to Cup O'Joe in the morning?
  7. Grant, Grrg...thanks and I'll update the thread when I have more to report. I was out of town last week when I got the email so I'm trying to find out more info: if it's still on Wednesday nights, etc. I know they were looking for someone to take the coach role. I suck at sports and don't know the rules, plus I like to play but don't take this stuff too seriously.
  8. Her arse is insane from a proportional standpoint. Impressive physique. Happily married spud here, but I approve of this.
  9. Hey guys...firing this thread back up as they are putting the TEAM BACK TOGETHER... Everyone that participated last year should've gotten an email last week from Tom Zimmer. Let me know if you're interested!
  10. Thats a great little project! If you can find some ways to accentuate the body lines and styling (paint headlights, use a silver to outline grille or "chrome trim") it would do a lot more justice to the old body.
  11. Came here to post this. OG CR member and was in FL for a few years...recently relo'd back to C'bus. Also, I think Flybye is at Byers Imports...great guy as well...
  12. Cool to know, Sam. Did you know Cincy guys were coming because of the Sawmill FB page? I'm not on FB, but fortunately for me Sawmill's not far from my house. Not a wasted drive if it's not a good turnout.
  13. I grew up with the 80s-style, Billy Ocean "Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" kinda 911 era, and I loved when the 964 came out they got rid of the accordian bumper fillers and basically made the smoothest air-cooled body without ruining the lines. Every other 911 body evolution since then has ran away from that mold. Certainly they've been successful for the most part, but I love the 964. ...again, because side license plate lights
  14. Wow, no shit... If I ain't doing anything and it's not raining, sounds like Sawmill season again!
  15. Anyone get any pics?
  16. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/the-964-is-one-of-the-best-looking-911s-ever-1559074275/1559137204/+ballaban I do like the 993, but I may have to agree with them about the 964. Because....you know... LAST OF THE SIDE LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS
  17. First time on the intarbutt? Double post not multiposting like ya should :dumb:

I do not live in the sticks and have a paved driveway...but you seem like good people. Welcome to the site!
  19. Hey mang saw the notice on FB. I'm in NYC but I'll catch you another weekend. I'd be curious how much Byers is paying to "sponsor" the other cars and coffee group :ninja:
  20. When would you sell it in the future? If you kept it 10+ years I wouldn't let that damage affect your decision; only sweeten the price in your favor. If you're going to be like erry other 'Murican and flip a car next year, then the butthurtness will bite you. I lub dem red guts:thumbup:
  21. I was just looking at a '78ish Monte Carlo, and remarked to myself that the styling really was very nice considering the rolling appliances of today. Granted, it was stamped out of pig iron and put together by drunk McBapies... If there was an easier way to smooth out the front and rear steel bumpers, I'd have a lot more love for cars even from the 70s... HOT ROD Magazine featured a 1973? Pontiac LeMans that some dude did roll pans front and rear. Combined with a Pro Touring slammed stance with Cragar Soft 8s, it was a hell of a looker.
  22. Your breaux talked about this at CC&C. Definitely props to the company! Though for $15k a set of wheels, you should get a dime that knows how to wrench to come out and reassemble the wheels....NEKKID:masturboy: I bend a $70 eBay wheel, and I don't even get an email address to bish at. :fa:
