  1. I'll try to make it out later tonight...like after 10pm. Been under the BMW this entire afternoon. May need to take frustrations out on Forza.
  2. Did you buy that thing from Draco???
  3. You guys use KEYS to start your cars??? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=669&pictureid=6070
  4. Let's be honest...that's a driving factor here. :masturboy: Not sure what the used market has in the '10+ MY range, or what the prices are...so I'll pass on that but you'll DEFINITELY want to drive a '10+ just to see if the feel is dramatically better to go with the more masculine fascia. I personally like the older body style, but anyone that thinks '08s are more masculine than the chisled lines of the '10+ is out of their gourd. I've always been a fan of AMG, lamented that even C32's and C43's never came in a stick. The E-class AMG is a killer meeting of size, power, and performance: Not too big to hustle, not too small to be uncomfortable. Will be a premium sedan for the next 30 years.
  5. http://sploid.gizmodo.com/this-real-life-version-of-a-mario-kart-cart-is-all-i-wa-1527435567/@pgeorge HOO BOY...looks like they're making an adult-sized version of this thing...
  6. 493bhp from a 4.0L N/A six-cylinder. That's seriously impressive. You can't help but be amazed by how Porsche has consistently improved the formula so well over 50 years. Yes, Corvette and Mustang have as well...but what started with roots as a basic form of transportation has evolved tremendously.
  7. Sorry, Meeler...I was kidding. We do CC&C every Saturday morning.
  8. PERISH THE THOUGHT Should be a good turnout this Saturday! Already getting a few emails from people. Glad to see the break in winter... I'll be at Pinewood Derby w/daughter until 9am. See you guys after then.
  9. Guys, CC&C is cancelled... (^^^That was a joke. We never stopped doing CC&C...)
  10. Ant, can we also run a "Short Bus" on the 18th? Just a few of us having friendly competition in non-competitive cars/trucks. EDIT: Also...how to we pay for a slot?
  11. Schweet. I'll hit you up later!
  12. LOL, my springs are snapped around the eyelets as well. Work fine, but looking for a replacement. I am definitely intadested in the wheels/tires if I could swap out my steelies...maybe take a look at that bench seat... Adam/Scott, you guys going up to check it out? OP/Joe, let me know what works for me to stop out in the next few days. My 1982 is also red ext/red int. Thanks!
  13. I could use a good bench seat if the cover isn't torn. Can I take the rear leaf springs off, and you can still scrap it?
  14. I just bought a 924. SAME THING, AMIRITE??? P-CAR FEVER
  15. http://sportscasualties.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/angry-old-person.jpg It's not for me either, but he pulls it off anyway.
  16. Wow. I'm glad I asked. Thanks for the info, Evan! Are you sticking with it? Not sick stopping by Tensuke for fish and fillings? Can you get enough for a few days' rolls in your fridge or do you really need to eat what you make within 24-48 hrs? If you get ingredients to make your own beer, you can easily screw up the whole batch. If you mess up making sushi, at least you still have good sushi-grade food to eat! A lot of what I read is that it's relatively easy to make, but it takes a long time to make sushi LOOK like what you see in restaurants; therein lies the art form of making sushi. I can see myself not caring if it doesn't look right as I still love eating it. Lord knows how many supermarket-bought sushi rolls have fallen apart, and I'm paying for someone else to do it!
  17. From what I've read on other forums and online auto news...the 911 is becoming the car to drive this year. Dunno if it coincides with the 50th anniversary hype...
  18. I've loved sushi for a long time, but over this last winter, I've gotten my wife into some vegetarian/"American" sushi (like philly rolls:lol:) and I'd love to eat more, but it's obviously expensive. Yesterday, while picking up some toosh at Giant Eagle, I noticed the grass mats and sushi kits. I was googling websites (http://makemysushi.com/) and also realizing that I'm a stones' throw from Tensuke Market, CAM, and Sunshine Asian Supermarket here on the NW side of Columbus. Have any of you made your own sushi, or have a friend/loved one who does? I'd be interested to hear how often you make it, what the cost has been, and where/what stores you visit for supplies (rice, fish, etc...) Thanks!
  19. +1. Loving the progress on both cars. Look forward to seeing them out this season!
  20. Good Op-ed piece... http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2014/02/guest-post-jamie-kitman-on-the-battle-of-chattanooga/
  21. Welcome to the site! Waiting for pics as well.
  22. A huge crab, destroying a Fiero. $400. http://johnbrosio.com/prints.html /thread http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19g0bl5s3gbw4jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg
  23. Well, the flip side is if it's not working out, it should still be sellable in a year. Some hipster will snag it up. Does look clean...windshield paint sez 128k miles, not 120k, FWIW...
