I worked out of it when I needed to be out talking to clients. I was told by one of the real estate brokers that, when 215 was still being built, the penthouse sold for almost $100 Million dollars...then another large unit sold for around the same amount of money. Plenty of interest, too for the other higher units... That's almost $100 MILLION DOLLHAIRS for a condo. ...and there are 2 of them. In one building.

I used to feel bad for couples that paid $20k+ for fertility treatments to have a child...until my wife's C-section. Thank goodness for my work-provided group health insurance coverage that I pay into! $20k to put a kid in, $15k to get it out.

I just watched the vid... Did you see all those guys take the exit for the Cross-Bronx Expressway and George Washington Bridge when they were buzzing the RR??? WTF were they thinking??? What makes me upset about all of this is the government continues to ignore the massive debt our country is racking up. In a true market economy (without control over the monetary policy you operate in) we wouldn't be able to do ANYTHING because we're carrying a $17 TRILLION loan balance, with not enough income to service the interest...let alone reduce the principal. I wish everyone had free healthcare, food, and up to 2 years of unemployment benefits, student loan forgiveness, government grants for start-ups...just like I wanted soda flowing from the water fountains, pizza everyday, and 4 hours of recess when I was in grade school. The USA doesn't have the money, and THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH.

All of these points I understand. In addition, people should realize the "trickle-down" effect engineering a Veyron has/will have on VW products down the line. Same thing with the Phaeton: while all-new, it shared engineering/technology with Bentley/Audi...
