  1. As title states...want to BORROW if you got one! I'm trying to break free the huge bolts that connect the radius arms and I-beams on my 2WD Ford. I've doused them in PB Blaster overnight. Gonna try to take a breaker bar to them tomorrow! PLEASE HELP:thumbup:
  2. Looks like a hole made from Xylocopa. You may have heard of this insect referred to by their more common name: CARPENTER BEE
  3. As someone who takes his kids in an '80s pickup with no airbags, I support the idea. Plain and simple. I do worry more about other drivers, but it's also not a FOREVER car. If weather isn't in our favor, I'll take one of our newer, safer, more comfortable vehicles. If she is 21 and needs her one and only car to use on her own, a '64 C10 would be a terrible idea. As a 3rd or 4th car for your family, it makes much more sense. Plus, the experiences she will have with you will last throughout her lifetime.
  4. This is going to be a crazy awesome movie...
  5. Cool points: this guy's got lots of 'em. http://jalopnik.com/wisconsin-man-builds-life-size-tonka-truck-816752110
  6. Neighbor across the street from me in UA bought a coworkers Yamaha V-star 650 on a whim last year. Just saw him last night...he drove right into the front of a stopped PT Cruiser in Giant Eagle's parking lot. Fortunately it was low-speed...he bruised his inner thighs from hitting the gas tank.:no::no: Found out from my wifey in FL that a guy I knew in Naples was killed earlier this year riding his bike. I don't have FB so I didn't hear about it when it happened. Be careful riding out there, guys!
  7. NIIIIIICE!!! Come down to Cars and Coffee sometime!
  8. Waiting for pics. Welcome to the site!
  9. Love PCU  No love for copypasta :thumbdown
  10. What's wrong with $234?
  11. Thanks for the suggestions! Techie guys, any thoughts on this Lenovo T400? Gergles found it on MC's site: http://www.microcenter.com/product/414199/ThinkPad_T400_141_Laptop_Computer_Refurbished_-_Black
  12. I don't "woot", Rick. J/K...I'm at work and don't have access to the site. Thanks for the MicroCenter suggestion. May check out the one on Bethel by my house...
  13. Wifey went to FL and took our 'puter/iPads. I need to get something to: - Access Windows-based software like Word, Excel, Quicken - Intarwebs access. Fast download speeds, please! - Wordpress website editing. That's pretty much it. This will be a secondary laptop for our famiry, as my wife is waiting for the new MacBook Air Pro Net Dim Sum ShammaLammaDingDong. New/Used is fine, of course as long as the used laptop is reliable and functions without issue. No gaming, no need for a lot of hard-drive space as we're looking to set up a home media center once our house is finished. Thanks, CR!
  14. In person, the yellow looked better than the black...but moreso because of the bright contrast to the black accents. White would be a sharp color on a C7 fo'sho'. Especially if a potential owner was considering another car at one point... GT-ARRRRRRR:masturboy:
  15. I will say Kevin's been a GHOST as of late... Most of my stuff isn't time-sensitive, so I let it slide.
  16. When you see the C7 next to a C6, the styling is revolutionary without losing subtle ties to older Corvettes. It's definitely not as clean as late C4/C5/C6 styling (busy, angular exterior) but the rear quarters look a lot more Ferrari than people give it credit for. I'm not sure if GM thinks they can steal Ferrari buyers away with a $51-$100k sports car but the performance numbers are seriously impressive, especially at that price point. As a former 'Vette owner myself, I saw my FiL on Sunday (has owned 'Vettes since the '80s and currently DDs a 2003 Z06) and the first thing he asked me was what I thought of the C7. We had discussed it on numerous occasions over the last 12-18 months as he's been thinking about replacing his Z06. I told him without hesitation I thought it was an amazing car to behold for the price. STILL...I have some reservations about auto reliability in general for first-year models, and I question GM quality as of late...especially with the teething problems other cars have shown with DI engines. Time will tell, but I'm definitely a fan!!! Look forward to seeing them more and more.
  17. http://www.columbusunderground.com/lustron-home-now-on-view-at-ohio-historical-center-exhibit A great article about a fascinating post-WWII company here in Columbus that never really got off the ground. Will try to make it to the exhibit!
  18. Just got back from Judging...loved it! over 1000 cars registered! I got piped by the C7 Corvette. It's an amazing looking car!!!
  19. Jeffroseph, if it's for the Oodi I just had Sean (Crossle) do a system check at Northend Wrench  My '00 Passat is retiring to FL at the end of the month. www.thenorthendwrench.com <<<<< Great shop. Give'em a ring.
