  1. Bikes don't scare me....it's what the other idiots on the road can do. Sad to hear about the wreck but GREAT to hear you'll be OK! If Thorne and anyone else gets better riding equipment as a result of this, be happy to know that your situation may save other people's lives one day...
  2. http://www.bavauto.com/fland.asp?part=51%2013%208%20132%20631&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googlebase&utm_source=51%2013%208%20132%20631&gclid=COGjvfSB9LgCFWNgMgodA0EA4w Mine popped off today on 315, top down and crusing. Could see it going under someone driving behind me, so I'm not going to go back and see if it was salvagable. I would be happy to buy another used piece if someone knows a bro, or get a newer one cheaper than $150. Thanks! OEM BMW Part # is 51 13 8 132 631
  3. I'm Audi 5000...been a looong week. See you guys next time!

  5. https://www.eliomotors.com I was in downtown NYC yesterday, and passed by company reps doing a press junket I guess. I have to admit I really liked the car/bike...and it looks WAAAY better in person than in pics. Anyone else heard about this thing? I'm a fan. For $7k, to get a non-Chinese-made economy trike with a stick, A/C and decent city/highway performance numbers sounds like a compelling deal... EDIT: Check out this article from TTAC about the financing program, as well as further details about the machine. Given the history of automotive startups it's highly improbable that this is going to get off the ground, but I'm definitely rooting for them! http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2013/08/elio-motors-it-just-might-be-for-real-so-to-check-it-out-ttac-rolls-consumer-reports-style-and-puts-skin-in-the-game/
  6. Any plans on a cruise from C'Bus? Meet somewheres in the NewAlb area??? I know we're still a ways off, but good to plant the seed...

  8. Gotta go where the business is! I'm travelling more for work because I asked to cover more territory. I'm thankful I have an understanding famiry, and a love for driving/flying. Just got back this morning from NYC...
  9. Akula referred me to John Ross 4 years ago. They did an awesome job for a great cash price, after I got screwed by a fly-by-night company before.
  10. Sounds schweet, Eli! Good luck with this project and wherever/whatever the next step takes you...
  11. Sorry for being out the last 4 weekends, Nickey! Gonna miss this one, too: Honda is having their annual golf outing and I gotta represent.
  12. I love ALL my cars because there isn't anything from an automotive standpoint that I can't do...except scale a mountain or cut anything faster than a 13sec 1/4 time! No car payments to boot? FEELSGOODMAN.jpg Cody, don't mind Potatoe Paul: he's got no horse in this race and it makes him bitter to read this thread.
  13. ...or, THE MOBILE AIR-RAID SIREN :lolguy: These cars must've been bananas to hear in person. Probably made your ears bleed.
  14. It's amazing to me how big trucks have gotten. That said, proportions are all great and the truck does look good.
  15. Road head with short haired chicks ONLY!

  19. "This truck is so awesome that Optimus Prime keeps a poster of it on his bedroom wall"
  20. Do any of the 944 forums talk about an aftermarket catch-can as an option? Some of the Z06 Corvettes have a similar setup... Can't imagine an OEM AOS would be any cheaper than an aftermarket aluminum one...
