This man gets it. I see a brand new Nissan Sentra, I'm reminded of the 1st Gen Nissan Altima back in the 90s. I see a 90s+ Civic, I'm reminded of my dad's '85 Accord. I see Brent's Colorado at C&C, and my F100/F150 looks like a Ranger. Nothing against cars getting bigger and all that, but it's funny after 8+ years when they outgrow the original segment that made them successful.

My wife is pres for the board of directors at our daughter's preschool in UA. They are having a fundraiser with a silent auction coming up soon. She would really like to have one night at a hotel somewhere near Columbus for a "stay-cation" auction item: wrap dinner and entertainment around some local spots near the hotel. If anyone knows some managers for hotels in the area, please let me know. Ideally a donated non-weekend evening would be great, as this is a 501c3 tax-free organization! I would also echo the automatic being the only problem about the Fit: I test-drove one at Roush Honda when my Odyssey was getting serviced, and the auto made me cry: no power from the 1.5L, and manually-shifting did nothing for the performance. That was a fun package of a DD that was literally trapped by that transmission. I admit I didn't drive a stick Fit, but I'm certain it's an improvement over the auto

The only one worth anything is the Turbo, but then most of the car publications say it's mediocre at best as a drivers' car. What's your price range? If you're looking at hot hatches in the $18k-25k range, you're better off with anything from a 1.4L turbo Sonic, Focus, Fiesta, or a used VW Golf/GTI.

Mike, we talked at C&C but seriously, that's one of my all-time favorite trucks. SOOO unique and just a fkkin blast to drive. If I knew someone would've traded you the Falcon for that, I would've bought yours and made the trade myself! Looking forward to seeing it at HD Sawmill or C&C sometime soon. If you never put a V8 in it it'd still be cool. A drop is a welcome enhancement.

The other C&C will be having their "season opener" party at Rahal-Letterman's HQ in Hilliard, I'm not on FB so I can't remember the time. I'm sure CTD will be there as well. The TRUE Cars and Coffee will be enjoying CARS and COFFEE at our usual spot that morning.
