  1. http://jalopnik.com/this-220pc-mechanics-tool-set-for-80-is-worth-the-effo-498570485 You need to signup for a club membership, which I don't normally like to do...but these bundled kits are the bee's knees. Great to have on the boat or teeruk so you can make repairs on the go.
  2. When I hauled 2200lbs of roadbase in the back of my old '86 C10 (1/2ton), it swayed and wouldn't safely go over 35MPH. When I towed my Corvette on a U-Haul trailer and had nearly 1000lbs of schtuff in the bed of my '82 C20 Diesel (3/4ton) moving back from Florida to Columbus in '08, I drove around 75mph for almost 15 hours with very little problem, even in stop-n-go traffic around Atlanta. Up into the 90s, i think having a 1/2T or 3/4T really made a difference in towing, especially if you did it on a regular basis. HOWEVER, modern 1500-series 1/2ton trucks will tow 5000lbs just fine, especially if it's only a few times a year. EDIT: Saw your post above GL with whatever you buy!
  3. Ian was just telling me the story at C&C a few weeks ago. Unbelievable to actually see the video. Must've been tough to watch, Ian!
  4. I was all like WHAAAAAA?!?!?!?1!!1 http://www.petrolicious.com/how-you-rated-your-city-s-vintage-car-friendliness
  5. Contact Realty Executives Central...my house in UA would fit your bill but it's already rented and I hope to keep the renter as long as possible. I allow dogs. http://reccolumbus.com/ If you want to call, contact Shandra McNelis @ 614-261-1935 x26. Been using them for Prop Mgmt for over 8 years and nothing but great things to say about them.
  6. My FiL has one and I've put at least 100 rds through it since getting into guns this year. It's OK but as with Joe I'm not a huge fan; personally I enjoy shooting the XD-S .45 ACP much better. I don't know anything about carry comfort since I don't own one personally.
  7. Do you have grille covers for the 6x9s?
  8. TSC. If you don't like your boat, Harbor Freight has trailer wheels/tires but might not stock 14" or 15" for a boat trailer...
  9. My wife does real estate and business transaction law in OH and FL. She's pretty damn busy these days managing the famiry, house fire, and a couple client issues...but I can certainly give you her number if you want to talk to her.
  10. Thought the same thing: how will those beadlocks hold a wheel/tire balance at 200+MPH?
  11. It would be uncompensated, but there will be food and beverages offered thru SaT. In my mind I'm doing it for free anyway (not the grub) so if I could make a Saturday work with some CR peeps (like 2pm to 5pm) we could get beers afterwards and I'd buy the first few rounds...
  12. Over the weekend, I received an email from the couple that runs the SaT: they will be most likely be moving to the old Circuit City on Sawmill Road permanently. They had been in the former Kohls store over the past few years (strip mall by Dublin AMC Theaters), but the vacant retail center is being demolished for condos this summer. They need help pretty much every weekend between now and June 30th. Sounds like they've already started, and could use some help! I'm busy through the end of May, but if anyone is interested in scheduling a Saturday afternoon to help en masse for a few hours, please let me know here or by PM and we can coordinate a June date with them. They have food and beverages, but I will be happy to buy a few rounds for any CR members that want to hang out and get some karma in the process. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106891&highlight=scare+torium I've been impressed with the couple that runs the SaT as well as the close friends around them: they really act like a family and treat everyone with respect. I certainly want to help out in some way with this transition.

  14. OK, OK...I admit it...I've been listening to BPM (Sirius ch.51)!!!1!1:no:
  15. Actually, when it came to the iPhone I hated using it. My hands are too big and I'd fumble with it. The Otterbox makes the phone slightly bulkier but makes it much more comfortable for me to handle!
  16. LOL @ "370H55V" Badass vid...we're getting there!
  17. Ended up taking broken 4S to Sprint store today...Got a 16gb iPhone 5 for $25, Otter Box case for $35.
  18. Props for Lamborghini making something so unbelievably over-the-top, yet still runs and drives. License plate lights work: this thing is ready for the street. If I had the money, I'd still UGR a "lower" Lamborghini instead...Aventador, perhaps?
  19. I've got soccer coming up at 5pm!!!
