  1.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Let me know when that is...we'll come off a few spots for you to park
  2. Mike, awesome shots as always!!! Thanks to everyone for capturing great shots...it only helps our cause!
  3. Holy shit, Jason! Congrats on the purchase...that is one killer Shelby!
  4. +1. No other 4-door can pull off gold wheels and a wing like the WRX! :leghump:
  5. Rocky, I like the "lot B" idea...but could we give "lot A" a chance at least into June? With so many new faces I don't want to change things too much, and I want to see how people adapt to the lot after a few weeks...
  6. Dick's cuss. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2013/04/could-chevrolet-revive-the-chevelle-as-an-rwd-car-just-maybe/ Joans, I heard Audi is already worried this thing will spank the TT-RS:no:
  7. Check out www.53.com for any spots you think would be a good fit. Let me know before you apply and I can put in a good word for you depending on where it is in the bank.
  8. Roffles. Still sucks for Paul Milligan...hope the guy figures it out.
  9. I'd rather have a solid platform and replace worn suspension pieces...far easier, cheaper and much more rewarding once you throw a little bit of money at some rubber or poly bushings!
  10. Check MD Trans up in Delaware by Doc's place. Mark did a once-over on my T18 4-speed...definitely a reputable shop worth your call...
  11. http://news.sky.com/story/1073751/tarantula-the-size-of-a-human-face-discovered CHALLENGE ACCEPTED:fuckyeah:
  12. Be Casey: buy awesome CTS-V, still have Mazdaspeed3 listed as vehicle on CR:lolguy:
  13. I probably did hundreds of plane and car models when I was younger, into my pre-teens. Yes, insert "Clay was exposed to a LOT of glue fumes at an early age" comment here. I would definitely love it if my kids were interested in models, but we will see. I simply have too many other responsibilities/hobbies to get back into this one. It definitely served it's purpose in making me the gearhead I am today!
  14. Dammit! Sorry, Wags...I was at a meeting in Dublin this morning. In, pending any clean-up schtuff that I need to be at my house for. BTW, the whole back row of parking along Kinnear was open last weekend. OG C&C peeps should take advantage of that area!
  15. Welcome to the "Golden Age of Modding", circa 1955! Do you want an Edelbrock, Edelbrock, or Edelbrock intake manifold? Would you like the Holley carb, or the Holley carb to go with that?
  16. Quite frankly, Ford-humpers/GM-haters can GFY, as we are happily in the age of 300+hp LSx engines for $1000. Well-engineered, ISO-9001 manufacturers are producing brackets/mounts/accessories to put these motors in just about anything. Someone put an LSx in a Suzuki Sidekick... FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO WRENCH (admitting myself that many of ours and the newer generation can't hang a picture on the wall without a contractor)...how can you not call this the "Golden Age of Modding"?
  17. I will say from experience that hot rodding is constantly improving with automotive technological advances. Seriously, if you doubt that, go and pick up a HOT ROD Magazine issue and look through the ads and Tech Help sections. CLEETUS: I finagle a distributor and single-barrel carb to smooth out my idle, since the seasons are changing. I install a $80 MSD box and coil to get "instant on" cold starts.... JOANS: plugs in an OBDII module in his TT-RS, gets 30+HP and 60+torks for less than $300 within 5 minutes in his garage. When I do my Factory Five Cobra, you better believe it's going to have a Ford Coyote/GM LSx EFI engine in it. If I did my Ford tee-ruk over again, I wouldn't have rebuilt the 300ci inline-6: definitely would've installed a modern powertrain... PROGRESS WINS
  18. I'll do my best to relay position preferences...please be flexible as I don't do the roster!
  19. Left VM, dude already called me back. Sending him an email... Yep. FD found the fire and put it out with a watering can. Not a big fire/heat, but tons of black, oily petrochemical smoke. Not tall, not blonde.
  20. Over the weekend, we had a basement candle fire that lit some plastic shelving. Everyone is OK and hardly any water/structural damage, but the SMOKE/SOOT got into everything throughout our entire house, up to the attic: estimates are shocking to me just in cleanup, let alone the clothes/electronics/appliances that are already being written off. I've had a great relationship with All-Ohio Insurance and my provider is Cincinnati Insurance, but the adjuster is a wierd bird who even the ServiceMaster and construction guys thought had never done a fire case before. I'm worried since she is my "gatekeeper" to our insurance claim, that she might muck stuff up; slow down the process, or not properly cover insured losses. Looking for anyone with insurance experience - or who has gone through a fire in their home - who can advise me on what I should be wary of to protect my interests in this process. Given sensitivity of details, please feel free to PM me also. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  21. We are signed up for play this season! Thanks to everyone for pledging their support...it'll be a fun time for sure! Season starts APRIL 17th...more to come! If you haven't PM'd me your emaill address, be sure to do so and you'll stay connected with our email blasts about weekly game times. Good to also let us know if you can't make it to a game! Thanks!
  22. Papaw "SOLD" it for $1900 to his girlfriends 40yo ex-con son, who lives across the street from them. Who doesn't have a drivers' license. Oh yeah, and hasn't actually paid Papaw yet...I think they're working out a payment schedule... On a $1900 car... That he can't drive... Srsly, gais....I can't make this shit up. Dunzo with this. WV LOL
