I'm no expert by anymeans, But I know of 4 friends/coworkers who have had signifcant trans issues in their Rams. 3 of the 4 had total rebuilds before the 100k mile mark 2 of those were 1500's other was a 2500. the 1500's were both 05's and the 2500 was an 06. The 4th one was a 1500 04 and at 42K miles the converter failed. I know these 4 people well, and in talking with others at work i was told of someone else who had a 3500 Ram that had a trans rebuild at just past 100k miles i think he said 104k replaced with another trans from the dealer and it failed at 155K miles. This was a later model Ram as well Not exact on year, but he's a contractor and puts alot of miles on it. He's on his 3rd and it seems fine now, they said he's around the 172K mile mark on truck now. I know all vehicles have their issues, just passing along friends experiences. Not sure if theirs a maint fix that can prevent these issues or what, Kinda like the EGR Deletes on the 6.0's or changing the coolant on GM's when they were eating gaskets etc.

All the times I've ever been pulled over or given tickets. Not a single one was from OSHP, and yes i've been pulled over by them 3 times in my driving career, each time i was 100% sure i was getting at ticket.

Thanks for the responses, I called Direct TV and inquired about some packages. After their entry discount ends I really don't end up saving anything. So I'm just gonna stay with TW I've always had good luck with them, and no need for an aweful dish in my yard. I'm sure they're great for other's applications, but not for me at this time. Anyone using them or have experience with them? Pros and Cons? How's there service, and any issues with the dish and storms or rain/ wind? I have TW now and never had anything else and honestly I'm happy with them but if I can save some cash I may switch.

I wouldn't go any bigger than a 4" lift and personally a 2.5'-3" with some 33"s would look best IMO. I had a Rough Country 4" lift on a 92 F250 and really liked it. A nice Cat Back and filter and I'd leave it alone. Oh if it dosen't have a trans or oil cooler that might be something to look into as well, but if it has a factory towing package it prob has it.

Cummins are great motors, but the dodge quality especially the interiors are bottoms in class of the 3. The duramax is a nice truck I've always liked the GMC over the chev. A friend of mine had a duramax and got rid of it cause it started blowing antifreeze at 100k miles and was gonna cost 8k to fix. I'd go w the duramax IMO, but they all have there issues. Best diesel built in a truck was the 7.3 hands down

PPC. I've bought stuff from trails west but never had anything installed there. The times I have gone in there their not the best to deal with. As for mccoy's I've called them a few times on prices and they never return calls.
