All pretty interesting........Thanks for the info guys, like i said I smelled BS from the start but was curious to see if there was infact any truth to this. My best experience with an OEM factory tire was on my 05 F150 it came stock with the 18" Goodyear Wranglers, I got 68k miles outta those tires which i thought was amazing for a 4wd truck. I did end up purchasing the exact same tires for it, it's the same tires i have on my F250 but in 20". I ended up calling Derek and will be getting the tires from him. Thanks Derek!

I figured it was BS, just curious if anyone ever heard of shit like that. And only reason i was given the dealer a chance is i get rewards cash back for all service and purchases, so i'd earn money of the purchase and use it towards other stuff like having my tranny serviced.

So I'm looking at tires for my wifes Tarus X (set of Yokohama avid trz's 215/65/17). I've spoke to NTB, Discount Tire and my local Ford dealer, after discussing pricing with all three and trying to get the Dealer down on price (said they'd beat any price) the service advisor called me back and said this: She talked to the service manager and he stated the reason they are alittle more ($40 after a $60 discount) than NTB/DT is because the tread depth is not the same at those companies as it is at the dealer. So basically your getting alittle LESS tread on tires from NTB/DT than you are from a dealer. So this keeps the cost down and in turn they can sell tires cheaper. He also said the part #'s for the tires themselves are different so you can tell them apart. I've never heard of this on tires, but I know places like HomeDepot and Lowes do this on Household items, Tubs, Toilets, Doors etc. I found that out building my own house. So I Do think there is truth in this to a point. Can anyone verify this or have any other info on this? I'm wanting to buy tires This Saturday. Thanks

If your going to be doing any serious towing i'd bypass the 5.4 in a SD. Though a good engine ( i had one in my 05, my dad has had 4 in 4 different trucks), it's underpowered for any serious work in a SD. If your doing light towing and mostly running around your fine.

Difference is.......elections are the PEOPLE speaking and choosing who to represent them in an "Elected" posistion. When you have the "Right" to vote for an representive to speak for you and carry out and govern laws/ ensure the people's interest is seen and heard. You don't elect any of the items/posistion's you speak of. When the People are "given the right to choose" AND YOU DO GET OFF YOUR ASS AND EXERCISE THAT RIGHT IT DOES GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO BITCH. If you choose to just sit on the sidelines and let everyone else do the work for you!! THEN YOU GIVE UP THAT RIGHT. Since you clearly don't get it.......If you are given a chance for your voice to be heard and do not take that chance you give up your right to bitch! If you are given no chance at all for your voice to be heard you have a bitch factor. Yes you can express your opnion, but don't bitch if you didn't exercise your right to vote and now shit aint'going your way. Don't be like the thousands of people who were in there 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's who voted for the first time in there life because a canidate was of a certain race, religion or color and that was your main driving force to vote. Vote and you have earned the right to bitch all you want........Don't Vote? then STFU Don't forget many Americans died to give you this right.......and many others are still dying trying to gain this right. Talking about F250's not 2500 Obama trucks

The V10's are great motor's, built well and reliable. They're not great on MPG but if your looking for MPG outta a 3/4 or 1 ton then you need to go buy something else, their built for 1 purpose work. I love my V10 and it'll run and work with any coal roller out there if not better than some. Check out some Ford Truck Forums and you'll get alot of info on the V10's.

I am a Ford Fan because all my Ford Vehicles have always been good to me. And it's not a useless joke on cab design, the Ram quad cab rear cab area is a joke, compared to the space availible in the Ford and GM quad/crew cabs. Dodge did finally solve the issue with the megacab. Just stating facts. Go sit in a crew cab/quad cab Dodge then in a Ford or GM no comparison.

Dodge quad cab is a joke, absolutley no room. It's not a true 4 door. Not a fan of Dodges.....tranny's and suspension problems.

This type of protection is nothing new, paying a fee for fire service has been around for well over a 100 yrs, people would pay a designated fee and have a ceramic/metal/wood plate or placard outside of the home to show they have paid the fee. It's a practice thats still in use all over the country. It is a fee and it's the law, and has to be paid. Right or wrong it's the law. If life safety was in jeporady then i'm sure the dept would have acted. They responded and acted to the neighbors needs cause he had paid his fee.

I played in a league a few yrs back, it was fun. It's very fast pace like some said it's about speed, and hands. Guys do get intense and act like they're a pro or some shit. Had a guy get pretty physical with me in a game until i put him on his ass. All in all its a fun time.
