  1. NP. And I agree. That's just a fraction of what has been made/tested. I was wrapped up in it trying to imagine each round working as it was fired.
  2. Good to know in case I see this prob in the future. Thanks.
  3. Never had a prob with Fords. Mainly what grandpa drove his whole life, cars and trucks, and the only truck dad has hauled with. Not saying the issues don't happen, but maybe we're all lucky. Dunno. Glad he made it there safe and it sucks he had to deal with that in his condition. I would def avoid them if they cause you all probs. Same reason I'll never own a VW again. Nothing but probs for us, others seem to not have any with them. shrug.jpgif

    Intro

Welcome. Good intro. 8/10. Better than most. Love the screen name...especially when I saw your real name.
  6. I love your rat rod so don't take this the wrong way. That was a great start for a complete rebuild. I love old trucks and I know not everyone does, but with it being THAT complete orig I would have a hard time hacking it up. Looks good though. Keep it up and keep the pics coming.
  7. I'd say whatever you get the best deal on out of those options. I like Rugers, but I have nothing bad to say about the others.
  8. No worries man. It took me like 47 times to quit smoking...and I wasn't trying to run while doing so.

  10. Welcome to CR. I've been around since the beginning and could give 2 craps about my post count. Ask anyone, I'm hardly a troll. My name is Randy. Pleasure to meet you. I'm a nice guy, heavy set, have black hair and a glorious beard. I enjoy farming, hunting, vehicles of all types, and CBros. I haven't contributed about holsters while running because I don't run in the country. I could help if you asked about carrying while working on a farm, sitting at a desk, driving, or doing Krav. Other than that, I have nothing of value to add there. The other posts were 1) defending your desire to carry while running (you're welcome), and 2) in jest. No harm, no foul. Lighten up. As for my previous reply: *Mag as in "not a clip". It's a joke. Don't take it seriously. The other is more serious. I carried an SR9c for years (loved it) and never once thought about putting a red dot on it like I have on my carbine. I've never seen anyone CC a pistol with a red dot. Disclaimer (since you apparently need one), I'm not "trolling" here: Did you perhaps mean "laser"?
  11. 1) *Mag 2) You have a red dot on your SR40c?
  12. Hahaha. I'm surprised I made it into town to get the tires fixed before replacing them (which is when I noticed something was up). The truck has cleaned up NICE...as it can be. LOL. Took some serious elbow grease. Your sister (or whoever you said was driving it last) must've LOVED pop because it looked like she took a 2 liter of Pepsi and acted like she was at an ICP concert all upset b/c she couldn't find any Faygo. It was errwhere! Thanks again man. It's really becoming a nice backup vehicle. Engine is running strong now.
  13. Absolutely not. Paul was great to work with and 100% up front and honest. He told me everything he knew that was wrong with it and what he thought it would take to get road worthy again. No hate here. I'm completely happy with the purchase for $500 and approx $1K in it. It runs GREAT. The ball joints just surprised me a little. Not in that they were bad at 202K miles, I could tell once I drove it they were bad, but I've never seen one nearly fall apart on its own after removing the cotter pin and nut. :lolguy: I'm still happy with the purchase.
  14. If only there were vehicles that have fenders, a hood, and TT. I'm very interested to see this project progress.
  15. Like Clay said in your intro thread, needs a front end of sorts IMO. Gotta cover that shine with some rust. Maybe an old grill of some kind.
  16. Finally got around to replacing the ball joints on the ExPauldition. I think they were due. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=654&pictureid=7784 Thanks again Paul. It's almost 100% repaired and still within your "repairs needed" estimate.
  17. You never narc'd on nobody?
