  4. They were...or my bad...or whatever. I had been drinking at the time of my reply. All good on my end.
  5. Weeeeeellllllll....most of us are.
  6. Man, lot of options there and most I've never even held. I was gonna talk about the obvious (Ruger) and my personal fav. When it comes to all things rifle I've never had a Savage disappoint. That's not saying they're the greatest but for the money I've loved every one in every variant I've own. Now, keep in mind I sold all of mine years ago so this is old info talking. I don't own any firearms anymore but if I did I'd own a Savage or three.
  7. I don't think y'all understand Buck and I's friendship. I was one of 2 to help him tear out his back deck (before he went and torched the rest of the place). I was there to help after the fire. We've hung out SEVERAL times through all this and chat in CB and on FMB literally daily. He gives me as much shit as I give him and we both laugh about it. I can see how not having that intel could hinder understanding what was typed but I guarantee Buck knew and still knows he's my boy and I have his back. After all, now he's living offa mah tax monies. :lolguy: Plus...we're intimate. :masturboy:
  8. ...and y'all chose BUCK?! He can't even hold a jerb or keep a house not on fire!
  9. Pickaway Co lol. Then you have a decision to make.
  10. This year I sold a truck I bought from Clay and now own a car I bought from Clay. 2/10. Would not recommend.
  11. :lolguy: Just needs Camaro wheels.
  12. Now where have I heard that before?
  13. That's a lot to accomplish by the end of 2020. Good luck!
  14. This is gonna be another cool build. Looking forward to it.

$94.99. The ONE good thing about Ohio is they don't allow price gouging. They control the pricing. They ALSO hinder what we can get locally. Tits for tats I suppose. The spot I got on the KY/TN line I paid that for AE Rye. They had, like, 12 bottles of Eagle Rare...for $79.99. :lolguy: Hard pass on that $32 bottle that I love. If you ever want to check prices just go to ohlq.com and search.

So maybe it's still just twice a year but they have in fact increased production. Our biggest issue in Ohio is OHLQ will stash them and release them sporadically then folks go ape shit like they do for Blanton's and grab them as quickly as possible. I can keep an eye out for you if you want. EDIT: Man, you too, Mace. Didn't know folks here actively hunted it. I could've bought every bottle on the KY/TN line.

The rum cask finishing makes it so smooth and sweet. That article is from 2015. According to the Angel's Envy Guardian (AE Rep for Ohio) we had on the podcast back in Oct it's more readily avail now. They've upped it a lot over the last couple years or so I guess. I have prob bought 4-5 bottles this year. Bought 2 on the way back home from TN and there were still 6 or 7 more on the shelf. Bourbon hunters in OH swipe them up quickly. That's the main issue.

They only release what twice a year? The AE Rye?

Yeah, it should be safe to drink. It hasn't aged any since it was bottled but if it has remained sealed it should be good to go.

How does he know that it's from the 1980? Searching I found them all over Ohio (using OHLQ) for $12.99 at that price. The plastic screw top told me it was likely a bottom shelfer and not highly sought. It's also a blended whiskey. I found some for sale for ~$20. I also found some a little older priced at ~$200 but they all appear to be overseas (so ~"$"200 really. I didn't take time to covert each). Asked some bourbon buddies of mine to see if they might have more insight.
