http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/23/dobbs.may24/index.html Couldn't have summarized Congress and the White House better if I sat down for a week. Just thought it was interesting. Time to vote the bums out come November.
-
Good find lemosley -- I'd found some other good voting record sites, but not that one.
-
Also, to those of you who do vote (like myself) on a regular basis, Senator DeWine is coming up for re-election this November and is very pro-immigration. If you look up his voting record you will see that he is a big supporter of increasing the number of cheap workers, voting FOR a guest-worker program, and is FOR letting the illegals in this country stay. I will be voting against him this November. I hope those of you who feel the way I do on immigration (that we basically need to secure the borders 100%, toss out illegals, and cut DOWN on immigration as we're already overpopulated) will vote as well.

Couldn't agree more, but our pussy government is too worried about political correctness and kissing everyone else's ass around the world to take care of #1 first. I miss the old days. I just hope I live to see the day when we get another president like T.R. that wouldn't hesitate to tell another country what to go do with itself if it tried to milk us the way Mexico does and our gov't just lets it happen. It's very depressing. I write my congressman often but feel like I have no representation.

That's awesome dude, sounds like you got a good one!

The best advice I can give is do it gradually. Do you have good case airflow? (Cooling is obviously VERY important) What heatsink are you using? I watercool both my CPU and the GPU so I can't offer fair comparisons to an air cooled system, but with any overclocking, make sure your PSU can handle it, your RAM can handle it, make sure you have the temperatures for overclocking, and just go a little bit at a time. The overclock will only be as good as your weakest piece. It doesn't mean it's the chip. I have my Athlon 64 San Diego 3700+ @ 1.60V running at 2.81GHz rock solid stable, but I have good RAM, a good board, a True Power 480W PSU and watercooling, and my water pump is run by a UPS instead of pulling the current off the PSU rails. I'm sorry I don't have enough time to read this entire thread as I'm at work, but I hope that might give you a bit of direction.

That's where I always go.

Did that once too just booting into Safemode. The only one I ran in this instance was Spybot S&D and it took care of the problem. Our IT Director had caught some stuff on this one guy's computer reaching out to sites on the net in the background while he was working, so I booted to Safemode without any networking and ran Spybot, found 30-some programs and fixed them, then immunized. No more troubles.

Couldn't agree more about criminals in general -- maybe when the day comes when people vote Democrats and Republicans alike out of power and vote Independents in, we will see real results and a better society with laws that actually make sense.
-
Yep yep. Get it tuned, especially with a full exhaust. Probably just running rich when you romp it or something. If anything the tuners will be able to look at it when it goes wide open throttle and they'll be able to tell you exactly what's happening when it sputters.
-
If it's spyware, try Spybot Search & Destroy and immunize your PC afterward. Good program.

Alright, well thanks a ton for the responses fellas, I really appreciate your time.

And when you say it works -- do you mean that if I set up cameras in an area where they could *SEE* the cameras it works as a deterrent or to hide the cameras and you think the cops could actually do something then? Thanks.
-
Works for a company. He parks his van VERY close to the house, like right up against the garage practically with about 4 flood lights hitting the area. I'm just suprised they keep coming back to hit the same thing -- most people would hit once and bail you would think...only setting themselves up to get caught in the rare event that the cops do their job. Thanks for the responses fellas.

My girlfriend and I live next door to my parents here in Gahanna. My dad was telling me that he's been having thieves try to break into his work van off and on. The first time they made off with some stuff. Since that time he's installed internal locks on the doors that they have so far been unable to penetrate but he went outside the other day to leave for work and one of his doors' locks had been messed up like someone was trying to get into it so they didn't get in but obviously had been trying. They had also unscrewed one of his flood lights that look down over the cars out front. He spoke to the Gahanna police and they had basically no advice. So basically after speaking with the authorities they basically tell you there's nothing you can do. The cops themselves are worthless and don't do anything to prevent these types of things, you can't wait around with a gun to blow them away because you'll go to jail (and it's random anyway so you can't sit up all night every night waiting for it to happen since people have jobs to go to), you can't set the vehicle up to electrocute people on contact because you'll go to jail... Does anyone have any suggestions at all on what to do since these people just continue to come back? Has anyone run into this problem before and maybe have some advice? I can rig up cameras but what's the point? The cops as I said before are 100% worthless so I can't think of a good reason to waste the money and time setting up a camera system. Thanks for your time, as it is much appreciated.

Yeah you would think. Ah well I'll just keep putting up ads on Corral and other sites. Thanks for your replies.

http://www.wmsracing.com/pgi-ProductSpec?SAL-046007 See the piece sitting over the backseat and convertible top? I'm looking for that. The cheapest I've ever seen them new is $400 for an unpainted one, which is way too much in my opinion. So I've been trying to either find somewhere that sells them at a more reasonable price or a used one that I can just have re-painted.
-
I'm in the market for a one-piece speedster cover (essentially a Saleen cover, but brand doesn't matter to me as long as the quality is high) -- anybody know anybody selling one (painted or non as it will probably have to be re-painted anyway) or a well-priced place to get one? Thanks very much.

What is the final word (truth) on the cameras posted at intersections catching people who run red lights? I've heard it's required for them to post signs telling people that there are cameras at the intersection in order to ticket people -- is this true? I've also heard that it's illegal for them to send a ticket to you without an officer present to write it -- I'd just like to know what the bottom line is since they have begun putting them up in my Gahanna area pretty frequently. Thanks a lot.

That blows dude, sorry to hear that.

Yes it's ghetto.

Good powertrain, but I'm glad it's going. Looked too much like a Grand Prix/Grand Am with a V8 for me to really like it. No offense to those GTO owners out there.

Good to see tax dollars paying the salary of these great officers of the law. Must've not been any murders, robberies, rapes, or kidnappings going on at that particular time in Grove City, so he had a few minutes of spare time and had to fill them up with something....riiigght.....

Is that a local ohio club (like columbus racing) or just another country wide online forum for mustangs?
