  1. I actually saw one outside about 2 weeks ago at night. We see them near the forest behind our house a lot at night flying around. Pretty cool.

Definitely would vote for him as long as his views aren't totally crazy. But it would be great to get a non-politician in there for a change.
  3. Thanks! I fell in love with it last year at the car show on the Z06 they had there.
  4. I hope all works out well for you as well man. Heart issues suck. In any case I'm kinda in the same boat as far as your question about what we do to pass the time. My life is quite similar to you. I go to work, come home, play games on the PC, watch movies and "play" w/ the g/f, read books, visit family members, wash my car, etc. I live a pretty simple life myself.
  5. Yeah I hate Florida with a passion, but in that game I didn't really care who won or lost. Wouldn't have minded seeing LSU lose to see them drop in rankings. I'd like to see OSU take the National Title this year -- their defense is way better than last year and I think they have a better chance at winning it this year.
  6. Yeah I was pumped to see USC get beat last night. Incredible. Things are lookin' good.
  7. This obviously comes down to your needs. I was in a similar situation a couple months ago. I love my red Mustang, had it for 8 years and have put rediculous money into it. I have wanted a Corvette for quite a while, and absolutely love the C6 appearance and now the the LS3 engine. I debated selling my red Mustang for the longest time in order to buy the Vette, but I thought in the back of my mind, what if I end up missing driving it. I was fortunately able to keep it while purchasing the Vette. After driving it for 700 miles, I think I can pretty solidly say I will be selling the Mustang come springtime. I don't miss driving it in the slightest bit even though it's faster than the Vette. The Corvette is a completely different class of vehicle in every way, atleast in my opinion. I still love Mustangs, but the Corvette has won me over. Go for the Z06.
  8. Best match to Joe Biden (who I've always liked) but I'll actually probably vote Thompson. Tempted to vote in the Democratic Primary to vote against Clinton though.

    Upsets???

Some entertainment on Saturday, that's for sure. I was really hoping USC would lose, but they pulled it out unfortunately. I sure was glad to see Florida lose though. Kudos to that Auburn kicker.
  10. Hmm. I just picked up my Vette and haven't had to take it anywhere. If I do, I'll probably go to Bob McDorman in the hopes that since they are a larger Vette dealer they may have more experienced techs. What mods do you have?
  11. I'd also recommend the Cobra. That's one nice thing about Mustangs -- never-ending aftermarket that's very affordable.
  12. Yeah I drove past that accident yesterday. Traffic was backed up as far as I could see going northbound, fortunately I was heading the other way. I didn't see anything but cops though...musta happened a bit earlier.
  13. You guys are awesome, thanks so much for the responses.
  14. Never happened to me. Atleast so far. Hope you get over your fears.
  15. It's in addition to what I was paying on my other cars. Thanks for the feedback, I'll stay w/ them. Thorne -- I have liability only on both of my Mustangs so I don't pay much on them. The green one isn't worth crap and the red one is so modified the insurance company would never cover anything on it anyway, so I elected liability on those two.
  16. No shit. I wish I had half the balls that this guy does.
  17. I'm picking up the Vette Monday and I set up coverage for it this past week. My insurance will increase $58 per month for full coverage on it. Is this good, or should I look elsewhere? I've been w/ this company for about a decade and haven't had any problems so I'm happy with them but figured I'd see if some of you guys who have more car insurance experience think I could do better? Thanks!
  18. Trails kinda sucks. Been going there for years. I wish they'd build a new local track and hire new staff.
  19. +1 -- great site. Lots of great info and there are sections separated by generation so you should have an easy time finding info.
  20. I'm holding out atleast a little bit of hope.
  21. I'm coming into a machine from a family member who is getting a laptop. This machine is about 4 years old. Specs are as follows: Pentium 4 - 2.4GHz NVidia Quadro Video Card (this is brand new as of last week - I just put this in as the stock video card died) 512MB RAM 80GB Drive 24X CD-ROM System runs fine, it just needs an operating system installed. I also have a monitor with it I'm picking up this weekend which is CRT and I BELIEVE 19 inch. I'd like to get $200 for everything. Any questions let me know, I have the PC itself at my house, just haven't grabbed the monitor yet. Thanks. E-Mail: pgray2@columbus.rr.com Brandon
  22. I'm sure they would appreciate it in any case. Tell the guy/gal in person if/when you see them.
  23. Picking mine up in about 3-4 weeks. She will be done being built next week on the 21st. I'm pumped.
  24. I haven't been out to Trails for like 3 years...I was planning on taking the Mustang out there this October/November to see what it'll do but it sounds like they're so strict on tech that there's no way I'll get through...are there any other tracks in the Columbus area that aren't quite so strict but are still decent tracks without a ditch at the end?
