i've heard of someone just replacing oil filters and just adding oil when needed.. i'd never do it, but apparently the car lasted quite a while. synthetic oil doesn't cause leaks, but if your car already has leaks it will let you know as it's thinner

graemlins/wtf.gif anyway, the cougar is a GREAT car, 99's the worst year for them though, and every model except the 02's have fuel pump problems, and i guess some forum members complain about alternators, but they're also the 99's. I honestly love my car, it's a great daily driver, it has power granted it's an atx it has plenty for getting around traffic. it's not a shabby made car, i really like it and am happy w/ it since 40k and no probs whatsover :knock on wood: you guys underestimate the cougar, it's a beatiful car and fun to drive, 170hp from a 2.5 v6 isn't shabby at all, and you realize the mod potential is there since you could drop in a 3.0 duratec along w/ the svt parts from a contour as they share the same platform, most people underestimate the coug, plus you could pick up chicks too cuz girls love the cougar if you want any info you can go to fastcougar.com and search or post or w/e, the people there are prolly the coolest people i've ever seen in a forum and very helpful

I've been using mobil 1 full synth ever since i got my car and change it everytime my light comes on... app. 4800-5000 miles, can't remember. But the oil always still looks excellent! Now my old probe i would change every 3k w/ just w/e was on sale at the moment and the oil never looked as good as what i put in the coug. Synthetics good stuff, and since i don't have access to a garage anymore and refuse to let anyone else touch my car, it saves me trips back home to change my oil.

actually, computer accessories are a big money maker, they're marked up like a biotch... so they won't ever really get rid of computers. they did however got rid of dishwashers, microwaves, fridges, and all that crap a long time ago.. no money whatsoever in that crap, best buy should do the same

desktops and laptops have to be one of the higher volume items we sell, they may not make a lot of money but people sure buy a lot of them.. we get slammed w/ computer crap every truck.
