  1. Where would I find a good quailty, easy to use MP3 editor? I need one that you can modify the tags and the size/length of the file. Thanks in advance. Bill
  2. I'm gonna check out Anthonys and if that won't work, I'll see what you can do for me! Thanks guys... Bill
  3. I use 91.5 and it works pretty good...
  4. WOW, things are moving fast, glad your happy. I know we haven't talked much the past few months but for the most part you seem happier. Have a good one! Bill
  5. I'm looking for a Mini ATX case so I can build my son a computer. I stopped by CPR and CCW and they don't sell them. A mid ATX case would work, but I just prefer a smaller one. If you have any leads, please let me know! Bill
  6. We have 2 programs at work, one won't pay unless it's work related and one will through our union, but it's only $2,000 a year...
  7. I am looking for a 1999-2002 F-Body LS1 Hypertech for a good price, cheap. If you have one or know someone that does, please let me know through PM. Thanks, Bill
  8. Can you just take a few classes there (pick and choose) or do you have to take the whole program? Did you take that program yourself?
  9. My work pays so much per year for schooling so I was thinking of taking a few automotive classes. I'm mainly interested in: - Automotive Repair - Automotive Diagnostic - Engine Repair/Rebuild Are there any local 'schools' in the Columbus area? I don't plan on getting a degree unless it doesn't take that long and the schedule is flexible. I currently have a 2 year Electronic Engineering Degree. Bill
  10. I have been thinking of getting a Ipod but I have been also looking at some of the other MP3 players out there. I'm just not sure what I want, maybe you guys could help me out by showing me some of the pros and cons of the Ipod and others. - I have about 50 gigs worth of MP3 files on my HD (tons of 80's, Metal/rock, Hip Hop/Rap, top 40 stuff) - Most are my own that I have encoded to 160kb - I want something that is durable and won't break if bumped around - A good if not great battery life - A good assortment of accessories would be nice - I might play it back on my home and car stereo - A good warranty - Ease of use So, what do you guys suggest for the ultimate MP3 player? Bill
  11. HP Tuners is a great product. They are coming out with software/hardware for Ford and Dodge very soon. Also, they will be offering tuning options very soon for: - Colorado - Ecotec engines - LS2/LS7 IMHO, HP Tuners will own the tuning market in 3-5 years if they keep up the pace they have so far. I started out with LS1 Edit and then switched over to HP Tuners in spring of 2004. LS1 Edit is pretty much a joke now compared to what HP Tuner has to offer. I have tuned over 50 cars using HP Tuners locally and I can also do mail order tunes for 1999-2004 LS1/LS6 cars. I was also one of the beta testers for there new version, 2.0. Bill
  12. Very nice, nothing beats owning/having a home. Congrats on going into debt!!! Bill
  13. Thanks for posting this link, I was just going to ask about this!!! I am one of those freaks that gets up early to get a good deal, it kinda gets me in the holiday spirit.
  14. As of right now, there is a problem getting the wiring harness for it: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=397960
  15. Ever since we built our house over 6 years ago, the airplanes fly right over top of us. At first we 'thought" it was loud, but we got use to it really quick, on the inside of the house you can barely hear them...
  16. Very nice Brian, I like the looks of that car too, even though it's a Mustang... lol
  17. They are probably the stupid azz parents that are SO quite in their own house and never make any noise around their kid. Doctors and other professional people say to just do your thing and go on with your life, they (babies) will get use to the noise. When I was tuning a 99 Camaro SS with a 383 and big 240+ cam last week, I took my 4 year old son for a ride and he fell asleep while I was cruising around! The car had true duals that dumped under the car. Who ever says that you can't make any noise around babies and kids are full of it, life is full of noises, live with it....
  18. You do know that the 97-98 blocks are, well, junk, right? You can't do a safe service bore on them, only a service hone. The 97-98 liners are too thin. With you being boosted, I wouldn't take the chance, there is a lot of money at stake here.
  19. What colors can you do? Does price go by size of letters and how many of them? Please give me an example on pricing, I have a few ideas in mind. I also have a friend that wants a sign that says this for his dad: "Ralph's Garage" Not sure on style or colors though... Bill
  20. Just use whatever MTI, HPE, LME use, that's what I would do. Just a little advice, have someone build your shortblock for you that has done a few LS1's. I know the idea of completely building your own motor from the ground up sounds great and I thought about doing that too, but if you did something wrong and the motor huffs, a lot of money down the drain... Experience is the key, use your resources wisely...
  21. You can't bore a LS1/LS6 block .030, The max is .005 or .010 which is due to the liners. You can safely bore a 6.0l block .030 over. If you sonic test the block, you can go .060 or maybe even .080 but with no service bore.
  22. I've been thinking of having a custom neon sign made for my garage. Do any of you guys know of a local place that can make them? Is so, please post the companies if you know of any. Thanks, Bill
