  1. I am listening to my Sirius radio right now at work! I was on the edge of buying Sat radio for a few years now. What put me over the edge was Howard Stern. After I got it, I was so amazed by the content of Sirius. All the popular songs from today and yesterday with no comercials. Also Stern is so much a joy to listen too now. the 1st few weeks was a lot of cus words but they toned it down some and it's even funnier I think. My favorites are: - 80's Channel - Hairnation (all 80's hair bands) - Octane - BuzzSaw - Hard Attack - Stern
  2. I never done it before but it can't be that hard. Now would be the time since you have more room under the hood with the intake and heads out of there. Start pricing the parts, any 99+LS1 computer/harness will work for you. Try to get a 2001-2002 though... Ebay, LS1tech, people in the know?
  3. Much better pics, I see you found the flower button on the camera...lol Running a true SD tune on your 98 is going to be a great challenge, to bad you couldn't/won't switch over to a 99+ LS1 wire harness and PCM, then it would be cake to tune it in SD mode.
  4. A very unique ride, very cool!
  5. You cheap f!cker.... lol I have an inital tag: 01 SS I was told when I got mine that it had to be 2 numbers and 2 letters, maybe the rules changed since then. Last year, I paid $69.81 for mine and it's also a collector tag as well....
  6. LS2 is better all around. - Bigger Bore - More HP & TQ - Better Heads - Stronger Block
  7. I do a lot of tuning on LS1 cars. I use HP Tuners. Bill

  9. I'm not surprised at all. The GTOs are very nice cars, probably the best built RWD besides C5/C6. Here are my thoughts on why the GTO never really took off: - When they first came out, dealers were rapping people on the price, that alone turned people away - GM priced it about 3-5K higher than what it should have been - Lack of options, people like to have choices, you had what 2, color & tranny... - They are heavy for a small performance car - With being heavy, 1/4 mile times aren't as good as they could be. - Most non car people thought of them as a Grand Prix/Grand Am replacement, due to the kinda bland styling. If GM would listen to us performance people, they would know what it takes to sell a car like that, instead they let the bean counters dictate what people like us want...

  16. After re-reading this thread, I think that if she ever gets a Federal tax return, they will take that from her, if she doesn't have the money to pay out of pocket. Might be something to mention to yours and her insurance company...
  17. Ok, let me explain what I do know: - I have 4 "accounts" on the same computer, Myself, Kelly, Zachary (limited) & Guest (limited). - Myself and Kelly have a basic password to logon to the computer, Zachary and guest do not. - I poked around the group Policy and MMC and I can see where you can "turn stuff off". What I can't find is: - Adjusting each individual user configuration - My created account names are not listed in the Group Policy editor, just "User Configuration" Yes, I am logged on as myself, computer administrator. I don't understand what the snap in is. Basically, how can I have each individual accounts show up in the Group Policy Editor to edit?
  18. I just built a new computer for my family and I want to use the group policy to lock out my 4 year old son so when he gets click happy, he does fuck up the computer. I have 4 accounts: - Myself - Kelly - Zachary - Guest How can I limit the use for just my sons account and the guest account? My wife and I have a simple logon password to keep him out of our logins. I know you go to RUN and type gpedit.msc, but I can't find where it goes by each users/account. If you have some screen shots, that would be great. Thanks in advance. Bill
