Just wanted to get the thoughts of other people. My great aunt died 3 years ago, the house she was living in was supposed to be sold off and split with family members. It seems like her sister's kid got some of the others to sign off the house to him. My grandma's side was entitled to a third. We never received a notice and the house is now in his name. The house is not worth a ton, it's more of principle thing. My family was the one who took care of my great aunt until her death. The other side didn't come around at all. Each one of us would end up with around $3k if it were done according to the will. Should I contact a lawyer? Or forget it?

Still looking for 1 or 2 more guys.

Big boss man is offering huge sign on bonus's right now. $500-$2500 depending on experience, only if recommended. If anyone is looking, let me know!

Hockey memorabilia (cards, pucks, sticks, jerseys, ect) and comic books are really my only collections. I buy Toyota Hotwheels when I see them at the store, but don't go looking for them. I keep all the boxes and instructions for my son's Star Wars and Lego toys. When he's grown out of them I want the box they came in to go back together. OCD? Hoarder? Who cares?

Very glad I'm out of it. Some guys at dealers I've worked at had shitty harbor freight boxes or cheap old snap on boxes and were the ones turning the most hours. If I went back in time I'd just get this cheap harbor freight box. http://www.harborfreight.com/44-in-13-drawer-glossy-red-industrial-roller-cabinet-68784.html Then once I filled that thing to the brim, then I might upgrade to an expensive snap-on box. There's probably a lot of things I'd go on the cheaper spectrum too. You feel regret when you have $15K~ in tools and your $4K snap-on box is 50% full. lol

Toyota Direct off Morse Rd is looking for experienced techs and lube techs. I know a few guys on here have worked here, but the place has changed tenfold in the last 18 months. It's a good place to work with great owners. Come in and talk with Denny, let them know Jon in parts told you about the opening.
-
Sounds right. That's how most the new Toyota's are, the keys are a one time programming.

I'd pull a vaccum on it and check for leaks before I put in a can of R12. Otherwise you most likely are wasting a can and it's just going to disappear if you don't find out the reason there is not any refrigerant in it in the first place.

I appreciate all the help so far!!! Tournament starts this Thursday, need all my donations sent in by Thursday. If anyone is interested in doing it online, the link is above. I can pick up any cash or checks within the Columbus area. Just shoot me a PM. Thanks guys!

My mom battled breast cancer on and off for 19-20 years. The last time she basically gave up and was gone shortly after that. Remind her of your children, possible grand children, they need her to fight even if she wants to give up all hope.

Nope, timing belt. V6's weren't chains until the 3.5 GR motor came out.

I'll be there. 224 row B. I don't think we are staying, probably just drive home. Haven't really talked about staying in a hotel. We're leaving here around 12-1PM tomorrow.
-
I don't think I'd go as far to say that it's the best to date. It probably is a top 4 so far at least. Still think Avengers is the best they've released, Thor 2 was awesome. I love all of them. I really love how the TV show works into the releases of the movies. I thnk they've suckered me into seeing the movie opening week so that I'm not thrown off by whatever the Agents of Shield episode is about.

Very nice, awesome car. I don't think I've ever met you or your wife, but with her battle, she deserves it more than most. Love it.
-
This is the reason I haven't bought one. I'm a Toyota purist, and I hate that they put a Subaru motor in it. Hell a 2AZ 2.4 would be a blast in that car. They could have thrown any newer Camry or Corolla motor in this thing and I'd probably have one. It's not an 86, it's a 86 wannabe, I could have 4-5 nice AE86's for the price of it.

Manual trans can be turned and pulled out of the top, super easy job.
-
They all burn oil like crazy, DOHC and SOHC doesn't change the matter, they're basically identical other than the head. Super easy to work on. Ever have any questions you can PM me, I worked as a Saturn cert tech for years, basically know those cars like the back of my hand.

Bump this up for any help. Had a lot of promises, a couple months still left until the tournament. I'd like to be one of the top fundraisers.
-
Didn't see this on the website. Where'd you see that? I've been there and think my son would love going.

5-10 years. It really varies. They are about $2600 + labor for the battery. Out of those 3 I'd go with the Corolla first and then the Fit. I'd only go with the Prius if you travel long miles for commuting and realize you may have to replace the battery pack within the next few years(mileage doesn't bother me, I see these with 250K+ on them regularly). This is a good suggestion as well. I've seen a few bad motors in these, but for the most part they run for a long time. Engines are dirt cheap for these as well if you were to run into a problem. Cheapest motors I've seen to get for any vehicle.
-
Yeah I've replaced a lot of cylinders as well. Stupid design, IMO, gives you almost hardly any area to actually stake the plate down. But no I've replaced more electrical switches on those body style Saturn Ion's than I can count. Typically 3-4 a week once fall and winter hit.
-
Those ignition switches have been problems since the cars were new. They should have recalled them when they just weren't letting people start their cars. With such a big problem, I could see those lawsuits being big money.

Went through high school Auto tech program. Got a position at NTB slingin' tires, then found an apprentice position at Saturn. Worked there about 6 years, worked my way up the ranks, ASE certs, GM certs, etc. Moved to Toyota, worked as a tech for about 8 months there. Then decided I didn't want to do this bullshit the rest of my life. Found an opening back at Saturn doing wholesale parts, worked there until they went under. Now basically I run the wholesale parts at a local Toyota dealer. Don't make as much as when I was a tech, but it's a much more stable paycheck and I don't mind the job.

Should know by the end of the month. Not sure yet. Thanks for the donations everyone. Getting a good amount in the past couple days. Any amount is helpful, $5, $10, $20. Whatever you can spare to help.
