I was the same way, but the moment you have quality sunglasses, you'll never go back. I was always worried I'd lose them and it'd be wasted money. 4 years strong and I haven't lost either my pair of Oakley's or Wiley X's.

Been a while since the last update. Not too much going on. Car came out of the body shop looking great. You can only really notice the color being slightly off. I'm super happy that I decided to have them shave the quarter panel seams. Looks so much better now. I'm still trying to source a used Supra intermediate shaft for my steering swap. I just don't want to pay $90+ for a new one. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/FB_IMG_1431197523192.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/IMG_20150510_163309.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/IMG_20150606_154842.jpg

I recently got some DirectTV mail ad that looked like a hand written graduation invitation even had some random persons address tag on the front.

If there is a piece of you that says you'll regret it, then hold on to it.

Not sure where this really come from. Safelite orders probably 2-4 windshields from us, OEM, each week.

I know when the Polynesian pool was being renovated last fall you could go to any pool except Beach club I believe. Beach club is normally excluded from most things as it's considered the nicest pool at WDW. Too bad I can't afford $600 a night b/c I'd love to stay there.

Disney’s resort pool hopping policy is very clear regarding general guests. You may use the pool(s) at the specific resort where you are registered. You may not hop to another pool at another resort and use their pool facilities. Most pools have signs advertising this information to guests. - See more at: http://www.disunplugged.com/2012/02/27/walt-disney-world%E2%80%99s-pool-hopping-policy-reviewed/#sthash.p1JgPUBM.dpuf Just saying, it's been this way for a while. Now, you can have you own interpretation on the policies, but unless you're a DVC member you get pool privileges at the resort you're at.
-
Really neat. I'll have to check it out.
-
Pool hopping is only available to DVC members, even this it's still restricted to certain pools. Normal resort guests are not able to pool hop. I think this was a policy change a few years ago.

At a body shop I'd guess around $2700ish in damage. On a side note how long have you owned it? Just curious, b/c 6 months ago you could have gotten that rear door garnish replaced for free. It's a completed campaign now though. Funny that most people don't care and just assume it's expensive when it could have been free. If you need any OEM parts let me know though I can give you a CR discount.

Looks like a lot of them sell for around $35-$55 each on ebay unless it's a loud print or odd ball printing.

I think it'd be a blast to go with just a significant other and no kids, especially during Food & Wine Festival time. So many fun things to do without kids. I do have a lot of fun, and honestly assumed it was going to be a waste of money the first time, but wanted my son to have gone at least once like I did as a child. When we came back, we started planning our next trip. It was such a fun time and I even enjoy planning it with him. We really look forward to it and I have a countdown on my phone that he asks me about or checks occasionally.

AAA really doesn't do very good discounts anymore to Disney, your best bet is the specials they run through Disney. Park hopper basically means you can jump to any park you want. Otherwise your park ticket is only good to the park that you enter, no going between parks. I always have used park hopper b/c we rarely stay at the same park all day. Normally we are there when the park opens and spend the next 3 hours or so hitting up all the popular rides with minimal/no existent waits. Afterwards we'll go back to the hotel for a swim or go get some lunch. Then in the evening we head to a different park for our fast passes and dinner. A little research and planning, while some to people can be a pain, will make your Disney vacation so much better. I'd imagine if you didn't research or plan things you wouldn't have a very good time. When driving, you do get free parking at the Disney parks when you stay on-site, if you stay off-site I believe it's $15 per day parking. Something to add to the pros/cons list of on-site vs off-site. Budget seems reasonable, not sure the ages of your kids or who all is going. I normally spend $2500-3500 for just me and son who is currently 8. Remember anyone who is over the age of 9 is considered a Disney adult for tickets/meal plans. I'm a kid when it comes to Disneyworld. haha I'm always down to discuss some Disneyworld.

IMO, only use a travel agent who has been to Disney and specializes in it. I have taken my son by myself the past few years and really enjoy it. We have stayed on site and I really enjoy the planning almost as much as the trip. We are headed back 11/29 for two weeks. There is so much information it's hard to get it all on short notice, but first place to start is do you want to stay on-site or off-site? Pros and cons for both. I really like staying at Disney, it immerses you in the magic and you really don't have to worry about a thing. I didn't drive anywhere, no traffic, no parking, no trying to drive home after a long day at the park. Never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a bus. Off-site of course is cheaper, but with your budget it'd be super easy to stay on site for 10 days or so. When to go is the next biggest question. IMO, I'll never go when school is out. It's waaaay too crowded and hot. October-April is probably the best times to go except holiday week/ends. Free dining time is awesome, but I just pay for the Disney Dining Plan myself during a time it's not offered. Free dining can cause a pain to actually get reservations, which if you want good ones typically have to be made 180 days before you get there. Fast passes need scheduled 60 days out. GO FOR ROPE DROP (be there when the park opens) you'll get so much done in the first few hours. wdweasy.com for crowd prediction calendars. Try to see the place through your kids eyes, don't worry about the money spent, it's already gone. Don't be the anal parent who wants to do everything b/c they spent so much on it already, you won't be able to see/do everything. Only 194 days left until we go back, I really need to look into DVC with the amount we've spent the last few years.

There aren't any new cars that interest me. I'm happy to drive my ~30+ year old Toyota's, they make me happy and require little money. I typically spend <5% of my gross income on car parts/maintenance.

Try to be a bit more humble. The guy only asked a question and was looking for help.

I believe you park next to who you pull in with. -
Well not much has happened in the past few weeks. I was able to clean up all my swap parts and source an '83 Corolla steering column. I'm only missing the lower intermediate shaft, either from a manual steering Corolla or an MK3 Supra. I am really holding out so I don't pay $90 for a new one from TechnoToyTuning. POR15 all the parts! http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/04221516212.jpg I also cleaned up the grille and the headlight surrounds and painted them black. I like them better this way. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/IMG_20150405_132542.jpg Then the unthinkable happened last Thursday. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/IMG_20150416_173845.jpg Some lady in a Sebring hit me at a stop sign at 665 and 62. Not a lot of damage, but definite pissed me off. Then broke my toe two days later moving some appliances. haha I guess that gives me a reason to shave the quarters. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/042115064622.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/0422151151a2.jpg It should be done by Saturday, so at least I got that going for me.

Should have the wagon out of the body shop by the weekend. If anyone wants to park together let me know. -
Should be able to make it out to C&C this Saturday. Hoping for a nice day!
-
It'd be neat to get a 3D printer. I feel like you could make some decent money replicating older grille emblems and such. I know some 80's Toyota grille emblems sell for $50-90 each.

Found a manual steering rack this weekend. Got a text from Farkas saying there was an AW11 MR2 at pick n pull, so my roommate and I spent a little bit there yesterday pulling random parts. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/03221512462.jpg Looks a little rough right now, but ordered some new boots, inners, and outers. Took it apart last night and re-greased it. Now I only need an '83 Corolla column to convert to steering rack. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/Cars/03221516062.jpg Were able to pull some timing covers pieces and other random 4AG parts for my roommates AE86. It rarely see daylight so I had to get a picture. haha

You're also a law abiding citizen if you don't say anything and aren't carrying so what's the point. Not my fault if the officer gets all worked up over nothing. If I was a criminal I wouldn't have gotten my CCW and still wouldn't say anything.
-
No you don't. I see no reason why you would say anything if you aren't carrying. It's not part of the law.
