put a little oil down in the low cylinder and see if the compression comes up if it does the rings are toast if it doesn't its a burnt, bent, broken valve you should also pull the valve cover and check for bent, broken misaligned pushrod or rocker arm....

just replace that wire with a new one from the switch to the fuse panel

reread the directions the studs I used had to be torqued to like 100 ftlbs.....
