becuase they proably just list a plain old lancer in the book and not the turbo model go to a parts store where they sell parts for cars and not tractors and you'll have better luck I think

pull the vacum hose off the fpr and make sure its not leaking inside (it'll be wet if it is)
check the maf for debris they make an areosol cleaner you can use
check for a stuck open injector
if you have a scanner watch your o2 values and see if its loading up at idle

it just tightens the car up a lot I'm running eibach pros with potenza pole positions @ 40 psi you can really feel the road with a softer tire you'll probably be fine
