if the exciter wire is bad you can buy a new pigtail at napa or carquest to wire in that will fix it

if your getting the carrier and all it will bolt right in it will also need to be shimmed properly so it doesn't make noise/ break I'd take it to mike ward to have the gears installed he can set you up with an install kit fluid and all hth

the ticking noise is the plastic faced throwout bearing that comes with most clutches.... an all steel bearing is availiable through napa that doesn't make this noise.... just an fyi for everyone always start at the begining with the simplest fixes first 9 times out of 10 a simple adjusment will fix something without it needing a major repair

I'm going to suggest nelson frame and axle. they can tell you if the car is straight or not beyond just measuring camber caster and toe. an alignment rack can tell you weather or not the steering and suspension is straight but a real frame shop can tell you if the unibody it all bolts to is any good hope this helps and you are of course more than welcome to stop by ntb and get your alignment checked

you should be able to put the escort sensor in the focus tranny and plug it in if that doesn't work I'll check out the wiring diagrams and get back to you

are you using efi? painless makes a nice harness you can probably also use the factory mustang harness but its kind of bulky and will most likely have a bunch of extra stuff your not going to want plus it will be really old I can help you out, but I don't have much time to travel I'm sure if you brought the car down early on a saturday or sunday morning we could have it all done by dinner time

SHIFTER fork not CLUTCH fork shifter fork is inside the trans and moves the parts around to line up the right gears first adjust the clutch again its easy to do if you adjust it and it still gives you trouble you'll need to have the transmission rebuilt or just replace it with something better than a t-5
