  12. never sell your tools. just buy a bigger box smile.gif if you get ratchet wrenches get the gear-wrench brand way better than the craftsman ones and sears sells them too for slightly less money. craftsman used to have a nice pliers set that had needlenose, slip joint pliers, channellocks, side cuts and linesman pliers. if you work on alot of old rusty crusty stuff like I do you may want a good set of vise grips. some other can't live without tools bench grinder drill press (portable) bench vise good set of drum brake tools air chisel die grinder just some more ideas have fun shopping
  13. I have a chance to pick up a 52" picture tube tv for free. the magnet thing that mounts on the back of the tube and makes the picture fit the screen is going bad. anybody have an idea of what the part costs or if I can even fix it it myself. if its an easy fix I'll drag it home if not the people can get the appliance place to hual it off when the new tv comes the y are replacing it with a big plasma tv [ 20. 16. I've been working outside in just a long sleeved shirt last few days. I didn't think it was too cold. it all depends on what you acclimate to. I don't like to be anywhere thats much over 75 degrees either.
  17. I want to get rid of the whole car at once but right now its only usefull as parts. it has nasty short in the dash wiring somewhere that I don't have time to deal with. the pros I just rebuilt the motor its 94 common block with turbo spec rods and pistons speed pro bearings hastings rings fel pro head gasget and bolts. the turbo is a mitsu to4e with a 2.5" swingvalve housing. the transmission is an a523 5speed manual with limited slip the car has been lowered 3 inches and has newer tires (handles great) new shocks on the rear newer front struts all the damaged body panels have been replaced with nice ones the car does need painted however. I'd like to get $750.00 out of it I have tons of other parts and pieces including an 89 turbo block a bunch of ecms and some extra engine bay harnesses it will all go with the car. pm, email, or call b4551971@aol.com 614-354-0635 if your going to fix it, I'll explain how I did the swap so that it can also work for you.

  19. they are based on weight. the more the truck weighs the more you pay becuase a haevier load puts more stress on the road. I think we carry 10,000lbs on one truck and 15 or 20,000 pounds on the other the tags cost over 100 bucks a year. there are no pros the tags are expensive but you have to have them to operate a commercial truck. hope this helps
  20. no. just make sure to use the correct type for your year transmission
  21. its a post coupe too not a hardtop it wasn't a very popular option in 67.
  22. you need to regasket or replace the intake manifold its made of plastic and has most likely cracked. your jimmy has one injector and the seals have gone bad cuasing it to leak down into the cylinders. coolant also goes throught he same area and if you drove it for a few miles it is entirely possible that you pumped almost all of the coolant into the crankcase. nothing to be super panicked about its actually kind of a common problem on those motors hope this helps
  23. sounds like a good combo it'll prolly go faster than 12.5
