I forgot about the coolant sensor. unplug it and see if it smooths out the idle should go up a little too you can also ohm it out to check and see if its bad or not the specs should be in the service book

I drove like that when I was 16 in the berm, in the center turning lanes, in the grass on the side of the road, through peoples yards, on the sidewalk it was dumb but it was fun as hell at the time

are you sure you arn't just hearing the turbo spool up. the T04E on my car is pretty loud

street car plus a cage = the suck graemlins/thumbsdown.gif good times but if your not going to build a full on race car why fuck with a cage it makes it hard to get in and out a bitch to carry passengers and it has to add 200lbs or better to the car. I under stand needing the cage to meet rule requirements but if your not going to run some kind of sportsman class and race every weekend why bother?
