I'm waiting on parts to fix my daily driver so I can finish my other chrysler. I'm going to see how far a 150,000 mile 2.2L shortblock can go before it ventilates the block.
well thought it would be a few days I have to remove the tailshaft to get the servo out and the rear band looks kinda shady think I might rebuild the whole transmisson and put a good converter in it while I'm at it.
I've had work done there they built the trans for my skylark th-350 I put over 500 ft lbs of torque through it the bellhousing cracked and the transmisson kept working prices are higher but worth it.
the fans don't work ever? first start the car and turn on the air conditioning if the fans run you have a new problem. if the fans don't run shut the car off unplug the connector to the fan and run 12 volts right to it if the fan runs replace the RADIATOR FAN SWITCH ( thats exactly what they will call it at the autoparts store) if the fans don't run you need new fan motors. it is highly unlikely that both fans quit working at the same time my money is on the radiator fan switch
HTH
found the problem the low/reverse servo got stuck in the bore and cracked mopar performance sells a heavy duty one so I should be rollin again in a few days
I only use chrysler ATF 4 17 bucks a gallon at the dealer. I found a website with some common problems it may not be toast becuase only reverse is out it will still go into all 4 forward gears
close enough that couple of cable ties will work untill I can get the right sized bell crank I tired to call you yesterday btw to see if you needed a hand but phone went right to the voicemail
