This thread has the potential for greatness. We need Jocks and nerds arguing and Old school guys calling out newbs. But it seems this thread is infested with nerds.

Welcome seems like a really nice house/property. And that truck is freaking badass.

I work for a small dealership and i would have to say it is just a matter of the people. The car business is pretty competitive and if you build a reputation of selling junk it will come back to haunt you. Just like verse said look it over make your best decision.

I couldnt figure out who the fuck sang that. My wife loves the song. Thanks Sam Song has a good beat.

They just added a new system that stops that from happening if you are still having it happen you should updpate. But yeah definately a scam. I been watching the salvage auctions for a couple car halves and you cant touch a decent one for under 30k.

I think i laughed harder at them laughing about it.

I would say the only major deciding factor will be the cost of the diesel/hybrid vs the regular gas engine. If the package costs 6-7k more dollars then the gas version more be a little harder to justify the incresed cost. If you can get the diesel/electric for 1-3k more then the gas then hell yeah bring on the diesel.

That is one bad ass car. Completely stealth. Now that is why i want to find me a nice older MBW 540 or 740 cars are so nice.

I would say that there must be oxygen present in the tank.

The 2.2 pulley is off the 92-93 SSEi. Easy swap Stock the 94 SSEi comes with a 2.8 Pulley 2.5 is the recommended swap for basic upgrades 2.2 is only recommended if you have scanned for any KR on the engine after installing the 2.2 i scanned at just about every temperature the most KR i got was about .4 at WOT and it was close to 100 degrees outside. If a buyer is interested in taking a look at KR i will gladly hook up the scanner at work so you can see it in action. I was also told it has a walboro 155 and a fresh set of sparkplugs and wires. Which would also add to the lack of KR. From a stop this car pulls really hard all the way to about 100 then it starts to fall on its face. I am by no means saying this car is fast but if you wanted to pick up a daily driver that has a lil bit of get up and go and a whole bunch of s/c whine this would be a good car for you.

I think its time for me to part with my boat and replace it with a different boat. Here are some details about the car. 94 Bonneville SSEi Has around i think 122k miles on it now. I have owned this car since October of 06. When i bought it the car had 115k miles on it. I don t drive it to often. Upgrades Car has a 2.2 Inch pulley Aftermarket Intake (some autozone stuff) Magnaflow High flow Cat Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler Car is an automatic (I was told it was rebuilt before i bought it) I dont have any documentation of that. Fully loaded Power windows, power locks, 9 Way adjustable Seats, Fully Functional NON LEAKING sunroof. Leather has some wear but nothing to bad. Car interior is gray i replaced the headliner but it is a tan so it does not match. Headliner cost me 5 bucks at a junkyard if you really want a grey headliner another 5 bucks would get you one. Now for the bad it has some beginnings of rust around the passenger side rear tire area. Before i bought the car it had hit a deer the front bumper/fender and hood were all replaced. Hood is offwhite rest of car is white passenger side front fender is gray. I was told around 350-400 bucks would repaint front end to match. If i decide to keep the car i can get whole car repainted for about 800. Im just ready to move onto a new toy. Looking for 2200 OBO Open to trades Here are pics i can get more if needed. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-090S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-089S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-088S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-087S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-091S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-092S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-093S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-094S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-095S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-097S.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc238/aci777newark/MVC-098S.jpg

LOL it was 140k Cougar ill be nice and not call you random names but give you a honest answer. If you want to retain ANY TYPE of resale value. (cars=one of worst investments in history) You will want to stay away from Fusion/Milan. Both are nice cars with minimal reported problems so far. If you want a car that will retain its resale much better i would recommend the Legacy GT in a heartbeat. http://autotrader.autos.msn.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=238623417&dealer_id=77511&car_year=2007&model=LEGACY&num_records=&systime=&make2=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=100&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&make=SUB&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=43055&advanced=&end_year=2008&doors=&transmission=&max_price=17000&cardist=26 That was about a 30 second search and seems like a pretty good deal. The Milan/fusion/mazda6/mkz are all based on the same platform. I personally would not want to drive a vehicle labled as a replacement for a mercury mystique. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_Milan In closing step up to a real car like the legacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Legacy I think in the end the overall fit finish and longevity of the Subaru will impress you much more then the fusion/milan.
