  1. That is problem I am having. I cant find a legitimate answer to that.
  2. They were supposedly replaced before I bought the car.
  3. This is not on a Tahoe but may work the same. My Volvo seat heaters one was working and one was not. So I figured I would switch the switches to see if it was switch or seat problem. In doing so I accidently caused switch that was not working to fall apart. I looked inside and the connection on the switch itself was corroded. I got rid of corrosion and polished it up and they both work perfectly now.
  4. The front o2 sensor has been replaced. I also had a ECT code and that was replaced as well. The codes are reading p0131 Oxygen Sensor Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1 The pending codes are p0172B Bank 1 System too rich. Last week I found a vacuum leak and it seemed to clear up for about 2 hours. Car was running great. Car was boosting properly. Engine lights came back on and car had these codes again. My major problem is the exhaust smells like fuel. Smells very rich and I am getting (dash measurement) and old school measurement of about 11 mpg. 16gallons of gas mixed city/hwy driving was around 180 miles. My last fill up on tank was slightly less at around 10.5 mpg. The o2 was replaced before I purchased car. So it could be a bad o2 but it has less than 5k miles on it. And is obviously new. I have never seen a 02 sensor cause that drastic of a drop in fuel mileage which leads me to believe that it is not just an o2 causing my problems. I am also getting what sounds like a rattling from the blow off valve. I had a similar noise happen on my 1987 Toyota Supra turbo and replacing blow off valve cured it. (it is constant noise tho and not just when under boost) Also this noise seemed to clear up after I found the vacuum leak last week. And it returned after check engine light had come back on. The timing belt and pcv system was supposedly done about 5k miles ago as well. (All of which look brand new. Here is what the data stream is reading 02 Sensor 1/1 0.00V 02 Sensor 1/2 0.48V STFT Bank 1 Sensor 1 0.0% STFT Bank 1 Sensor 2 -3.1% Short Term FT Bank 1 0.0% After doing some more reading around web. I am getting conflicting info. One place says sensor 1 should read 0.00 V but if sensor 2 is not reading the same then I have a clogged catalytic convertor. Any advice. I really need to get better gas mileage than a drag car.
  5. You go to a car show and see every ford f100 with 5 star torque thrust knock offs or comparable. Trying to find something a little bit different.
  6. I am trying to convince him that Red Mica CCW and paint the truck satin red.
  7. Looking for a wheel similar to this http://advantiwheel.com/current-wheels/a2-kudos-black/ that will fit a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The wheel will be going on a 1955 Ford F100 with a Chevy drive train under it. Want something with a nice polished lip. Front will be 18x8 and rear will be either 18x9.5 or 18x10.
  8. When is this crap supposed to hit?
  9. I have a air powered train horn at work will that work?
  10. Trying to stick within a certain budget. Those mustang II suspensions can get pricey. I have access to a salvage yard that I can pretty much pick suspensions and pay scrap price for common suspensions.
  11. The great news is that with the weight of the high point you should be able to throw it at any attacker and cause some pretty good damage.
  12. The rear measurement from inside rear fender on each side is 78 inches Trying to find a front and rear suspension that will fit a nice fat lip wheel. It looks like the Crown Vic 98 is 62.5 inches from hub to hub. Which if I am figuring right with brake would only allow a 7 inch wide wheel. Is there a place to find hub to hub dimensions on a large variety of IFS and rear ends.
  13. I have a Volvo wagon. Lets do this shit.
  14. I appreciate all the thanks. But if anyone takes credit it should be CR. The guys who got busted are not usually happy about getting busted and them and there friends are looking for people to get even with.
  15. The house is a known meth/crack house. Hopefully they catch the two dudes who my guy confronted. They took off running when he verified the vin number.
  16. In my business it helps to keep those guys on my good side. Police are already at the car and have confirmed and spoken with Nathan.
  17. Cops our at the address the car was under a tarp and being loading on a flatbed when spotted. Not even my car and all I did was relay information. But that is a fucking adrenaline rush getting that call.
  18. Update. I just spoke with Nathan. Pretty sure the car was just found.
