HD quality and quantity are the same. I have a local customer service number I can call as well instead of the 800 number BS. Price was also lower. My HD DVR is duel mode as well. My Direct box was always needing rebooted. The Dish seems much more stable. Signal strength is a wash. They were both fine. However, I have ZERO obstructions. Edit: I have to disagree with the above post about Cable HD being better. When I watch TW HD and then get home and turn on my tv, its like I got a better set of glasses. Everything is much sharper in my opinion.

Watch the introductory rates, get written confirmation of all your transactions with customer service. Have them email what was discussed. I love my direct TV but they actually tried to send my final bill to collections. I cancelled knowing I owed them like 60 bucks for my last month. They recaculated my contract start date based on the fact I got a new DVR because the original died. I had to kick and scream to get them to correct a 300 dollar final bill! I switched to Dish.

If it is similar to the situation I had a few months ago, it could only be a couple hundred dollar fix. I had too much ice build up because of a heater coil or something going bad. It blocked air flow up my freezer. May not be a big deal.

I agree with your personal responsibility arguement. I really do. I don't blame Obama for the shooting directly. I do blame his policies that have made our front line of defense against terrorists (foreign and domestic) weaker. Who is to say the FBI wasnt watching this guy? He obviously had some pretty questionable associations and is on record saying some pretty inflammatory things about America. Maybe the guys monitoring him were not as motivated to move on him as they were a few years ago. Maybe they are watching CIA agents get raked over the coals for doing their jobs and dont want to have their ass hanging in the wind....so they do nothing.

I thought the same thing. Then I quit using them and paid straight cash. The first month I did that, I had more money at the end of the month. I thought it was a fluke and tried for a second month to pay cash. Same result. For me, I spent more because I didnt look at a purchase with a CC as "real" money. I also dreaded to get my statements even though I paid them in full. Life is just easier with out em. Nobody ever says, "I got rich on CC points!"

Just a thought. Your ad says your car is located in UA. However, you can see a palm tree reflection in the window of one of your pics. Sometimes this scares prospective buyers when all the dots don't connect. Nice car though!

These days it seems like we all are a little more worried from time to time. We argue about politics, we fight with our neighbors, we may even fight with our family. I just got back from a wake. We have to bury a good friend, and he was only 53 years old. I know this life is not the end, but its still such a hard thing to go through. Finally, someone watching the same game I did the other night. Anyone notice they dont even have the confidence in his ability to check out of a play at the line? The reason why Tresselball looks so bad is that a team with a good QB can audible out of a run to a pass if the defense is lined up a certain way. Our qb either can't recognize a def alignment or is not allowed to audible. TP basically gets to the line when there is about 10 seconds on the play clock.

I agree with most of this. The war is debatable. If we leave, we will just have to go back. In the meantime, we need a commander in chief who will make decisive strategic decisions and not worry about his left wing kook fringe bashing him when he decides to send more troops. Any surplus is MY MONEY. Give it back to the people. They can find better things to do with it than the feds.
