  1. Never had many issues with my Hi-Point 9mm before I sold it. I think would have like 1 stove-pipe every 400+ rounds or so. Key to mine was to keep lots of oil on it. I still am on the look out for a good price 9mm carbine of their's but haven't ran across one. Nice thing about a Hi-Point hand gun is if you run out of ammo, they make great clubs.
  2. Nice article and awesome Grand.
  3. Try joining these FB group pages: Ohio JEEP Parts Muddy Buddys
  4. If you don't get any bites here, drop it on any of the Jeep group pages on FB and it will be gone quick. Lot of people looking for cheap wranglers.
  5. You *should* have been paying sales tax on any online purchases that didn't charge sales tax with your Ohio income taxes...
  6. Disconnect the door bell. No one important comes to my house without me knowing it, and they know to knock or come to my side door.

LOL doesn't surprise me. I had to move pretty quickly to get a good deal on the XJ I got a few years back. Another person was just pulling up to see it as I was backing it out of the sellers drive way. Put up some WTB ads on the group pages, bet you will get some leads.

Check out all the Ohio Jeep groups on FB. Ton of them for sale all the time. Everything from a cheap rusted out XJ's to over priced mall crawlers.
  9. Yeah I have issues with poison ivy too. Previous owners of the house put in an ivy bed between 2 large trees in my back yard. Well poison ivy has now also got into the ivy bed. Any sprays will also kill off anything in the ivy bed. So I am at this point, I don't know what to do. If I spray anything, I kill off everything and then end up with a rock lined bed of mud. And to make matters worst, I am very allergic to poison ivy. Any time I get it, I end up having to go to the doctor to get steroid pills.
  10. If you go on Pick N Pulls website, you can do a search of what vehicles they have on the lot. Don't know how accurate or up to date it is.
  11. Since the bike is in your name, don't sign it over to her until you get all your money.
  12. Her companies HR/Payroll department shouldn't have accepted the direct deposit to that account unless her name was on the account. Some banks will even block the direct deposit unless the parties name is on the account. As for the bike, do you have something is writing that she was buying the bike from you? That might make a difference.
  13. I loved my 2009 Dodge Ram, but when you start looking in that price range, you are getting into the older generation that can have some transmission issues.
  14. While it does have the option for a 3rd row seat, it sucks getting into and doesn't have a lot of room. Friend had one as a rental for a while and since I was the smallest, I sat in the 3rd row seating. It was easier for me to crawl over the seat and out the back hatch than to get around the 2nd row.
  15. Yeah even with pretty good VSP coverage, my frames and lenses cost me around $600-800 per year AFTER insurance. Getting the laser surgery on my eyes has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself.
  16. I had it done by Bloomberg about about 2.5 years ago. My eye sight before the surgery was somewhere in the 20/600 range (a person with 20/20 could see something clearly at 600 feet away, I had to move up to 20 feet away). Because of how bad my eye sight was, they had to do a "heavier" surgery. Ended up costing me about $2,800. Insurance covered none of it, but they normally offer 24 months no interest. Because of the surgery I had, took me about a month to fully recover. Last check of my eyes, about a year ago, I was 20/20 in my right eye and 20/25 in my left. Good friend of mine just had it done at Bloomberg. Her eyes were maybe in the 20/75-100 area. She was able to do the bladeless LASIK surgery. She was driving just fine the next day. Think it was like $1,400 for her surgery.
  17. I can remember seeing this a few times at the Light the Night car show in Newark.
  18. There are about 5 or 6 floating around Central Ohio already.
  19. 1980 Chevette 4 door. Other than being dark gray, I don't remember much about it. Drove it for about 4 months before I put it into a utility pole at about 50 mph. Other than for a broken nose and hip, and a lot of bumps and bruises, it saved my life.
  20. That same Papa John's code works the day after any home CBJ game where the Jackets score at least 2 goals.
  21. I will pretty much be there from Thursday night (STH Fan Fair) until after the ASG on Sunday. Going to be a blast of a time.
  22. Same for me. Loose signal every time it storms. Satellites are mounted on top of the roof and there are open fields all around the building, so they always have a clear view of the sky. Personally I would never make the switch.
  23. 100's online, but actually viewed in person about 15. Ended up buying the 2nd house we visited.
  24. Braking is probably going to be your biggest issue. Leave a lot of room between yourself and the vehicle in front of you. Also even with the 4.0L, you are going to have issues getting up to speed on the highway (tough enough in a Wrangler). Also not sure if you have to drive though any mountains in NY, but if you do, it is going to be tough. Watch your engine temps and be ready to pull over and let it cool down. Also that trailer looks like it weighs more than 500 lbs. But if that is all your are towing, it wouldn't exceed the 2,000 lbs unless that is all steal. IMO, I would see if you could borrow someone's truck or SUV before I would try towing with a YJ for that kind of distance. If it was a short trip, I wouldn't be concerned, but that trip is going to be a long trip for towing with a YJ. I wouldn't even consider it with my 13 JK.
