  1. right, because he's just "average", that makes his massive nuts small. the shittiest drivers on a course/path like that still have bigger balls than most anyone you will ever meet.

That's my point, and I've met all of these guys except Block (this is the first season he's running the entire Rally America championship in a few years). It's not meant to knock Ken down, it's meant to prop the other guys up. I like to see other people get the credit they deserve. No disrespect meant, although I realize how it could be perceived that way and I apologize.

  2. He's average at best. The only reason he's even competitive is because his car is a Fiesta WRC car modified with a bigger Focus engine. Things are changing quickly though. Antoine L'Estage who has been competitive with his Evo X is going to be running the rest of the season with an 05 spec Evo WRC. I expect David Higgins and SRT USA to stay competitive, as they are a team with near infinite factory backed resources, where as L'Estage is a privateer.

Here he is testing the WRC car last year, taking kind of easy as it wasn't promised to him yet I bet.

  3. Thats so weird, I was literally about to post a thread on the exact same topic. I lost 50 lbs last year, I want to lose 60 this year. I joined a gym recently after plateauing with my own efforts, but I want to give myself every advantage that I can.
  4. I had been sitting on this for a long time, waiting to find a better chassis to put it in since I was forced to get rid of my red Impreza as I had no where to keep it. However, I am trying to finish getting rid of my credit cards, so I had to re-evaluate what was really important.

Anyway, you are getting a complete SVX EG33 Flat 6, along with the wiring harness. It comes with the headers, as well as the dash side of the harness which was stripped down by Jake Achymeier (SP?), who goes by just "Jake" on rs25. The only wires left are the ones that let the engine be ran, to make it easy to splice into an Impreza or Legacy dash harness. Mechanically, the swap is pretty straight forward. Move the radiator forward a bit, then use stock EJ mounts and transmission, and use an EJ flywheel and clutch. The fuel lines are in the same spot as an EJ. The harder bit is the wiring, which should theoretically be already simplified as much as possible. Jake included some wiring diagrams with the harness he sent back.

Of course, you could always just purchase this is for a non running SVX or to have as a spare as well.

I drove the car home that this engine came in, and pulled it myself, so I know it runs. Could definitely use a freshen up though, valve covers were leaking pretty bad. Currently the engine is sitting in the back of my storage unit, so here are some pics from when it was pulled.

You will notice an MSD ignition coil, someone had replaced one of the stock coils with this setup, which was replaced with a stock one from Jake after I got the engine out. Clever fix, though. Never seen that done before.

    $1000

  5. I went and dug up the old thread, here was the for sale post.

    2.3T

fresh bottom end ( stock bore and stroke) all arp fasteners

ported big valve head with roller cam and adjustable gear

arp studs and mls gasket 30psi plus capable

stock turbo coupe top mount IC

fully ported upper and lower intakes

t3-t4 50trim (needs gone through smokes some)

    full 3in turbo back exh

    recirculated bov

    kirban adj rrfpr

    short throw

    stock suspension

14" wheels with new signet all seasons (16" wheels with 225 55 16 fuzion hri availaible at extra cost)

has boost and air fuel gauges mounted in center dash vent

    white with blue interior

the good with this combo the car should easily be in the 11's however I don't have time to go through it

the bad smokes at startup and builds boost late the turbo has a bad seal most like likely its a newer ITS turbo so getting it rebuilt should be no problem, I am also including a turbo from an 86svo mustang and a stock manifold to test for the boosting problem

I'd like 1500 firm as it sits or 1800 with both sets of wheel and tires ( your getting the 14's either way becuase they don't fit on my other mustang)

I will also entertain trades for a complete supercharger setup for a 5.0 foxbody, a boat, or a motorcycle

this is not an obo price becuase I don't care if anyone buys it or not if you do it should be a simple matter of a couple of weekends work and you'll have a fun street strip car or nasty all out race car (gutted, suspension mods)

if nobody buys it I'll eventually sort it out or part it out

hell you could buy it and part it out for more than you paid for it

also for all the people who want to know exactly what turbo it is its an Inovative turbo solutions street heat t04e that sold for about 1000 new

    pictures below

    thanks for looking

  6. Ever get it Dyno'd or run a 1/4 in it? Sounds very similar to what I'm looking to do

Not while I owned it, I got it on a trade and it had some issues that needed worked out before it could see a dyno or a track. The turbo was blown when I got it and it really needed some engine management work, it also had a fairly sizable oil leak from the front of the motor.

  7. What did you have an engine out of and what did you have all done to it? One thing you'll learn about me, I have impecable timing ;)

I don't actually know which of the 2.3 cars the engine came out of, maybe one of it's previous owners will chime in, but it had a Ranger roller cam, adjustable cam gear, gutted upper intake, knife edge lower intake, and a T3/T4.

  8. I miss my setup that used to belong to a couple different people on here, I sold it because at the time my skills weren't developed enough to properly fix it up. The engine and transmission were sitting at Dyno Brian's the last time I saw them, don't know where they are now though.

This thread is pretty timely, I have been considering trying to find an XR4Ti

  9. My chili is very simple, and I have never met 1 person who didn't like it.

2 lbs of ground beef or ground turkey (literally no taste difference in this), browned

1 large Can of Kidney Beans

    1 medium to large Onion

1 large can of tomato paste

1 can of chili powder (its not too much, trust me. I hate hot chili.)

Add enough water to almost cover everything

Also gets better every day you eat it.

One of my old roommates tried to replicate it, and then tried to doctor it up with other spices. Failed so hard he threw the entire batch out.

  10. I had to get TWC when I moved into my current apartment about a month ago, and to save a little cash I chose a 3 mbit internet connection, which is more than enough for just me. I noticed that most sites loaded pretty fast, minus streaming sites like Vimeo, YouTube, and twitch.tv. I thought it might just be my cheap internet connection or my $13 Tenda router, but then I saw this article posted on Facebook today. Apparently TWC is throttling anyone using a streaming site, even if you have their highest speed tiers. You can actually block them from doing this by following the instructions on the site. Made a night and day difference for me and several other people who saw the post I shared.
