This is the exact kind of bullshit that has most of us saying that Global Dudebrocross is not safe in any way. They would rather endanger the lives of people for ratings. At a few events some drivers (Bucky Lasek) weren't even wearing a HANS device. Not to mention Marcus Gronholm's accident that left him unconscious.

Although it does run Full Blown Linux with a GUI too, and they few distros that exist for it (remember, this thing hasn't been out but a few weeks) are getting optimized every day. At the very least, it can run Android just fine, which you could argue is full blown Linux anyway.

I have been thinking really hard about buying one, I just don't know what I would use it for. The only practical application I can think of is super tiny low power carputer, I can use an Arduino for everything else.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I love the really crazy ones too. There's an early 90's legacy that still has the factory AWD system, but is powered by a 13B rotary. Theres also a Fiero with a 4G63. The crazier the swap, the better.
