  3. What do you need done? You need a store setup, that could be as easy as a page with the wares and prices. Then email shop@columbusracing.com with items and amounts, take paypal that would be the easiest, seems pretty simple. Only you would have to have someone box and send orders, or pickup at meets. PM me if you need help with anything, could be a good way to raise some money.

  5. Since this is posted in the tech section we are supposed to help you but I don't know. If you want smoke to come from your tires, burning out will do that.....see sig pic.
  6. I don't ever get out to meets, maybe we should open a columbus racing shop so I can buy stuff with paypal and have it shipped to me.... over 2500 members, someone is bound to buy something.

  8. Where, how, who? It is good to complete this type of post incase someone else needs help...
  9. Wasserbecks in Ostrander is where we get all of our machining done.
  10. Turn the car on, take a largish metal object, make sure the car is outta gear, jump the solenoid and if the motor fires up it is something in your ignition switch etc...
  11. If it isn't making any noise at all it probably isn't the starter. The neutral safety switch allows the Solenoid and starter to get juice, if the switch has failed open you would get the symptom described. If your started had gone bad, you would probably hear the bendix trying to engage, or the solenoid clicking.
  12. It could be something in the column, I would think finding a really old dude that worked on cars would be in order. 3 on the tree isn't very common anymore.
  13. Easy outs? I have those new vise Grips that are made for bolts.
  14. My grandpa's C10 did that a couple of times. Like you said, grab the linkage and yank it free. You need to clean all the linkage with parts cleaner and lube it with something slippery like grease or teflon, wd40 won't do it.
  15. Wasserbeck's Speed Shop, he did a really good job on the heads on the altered, you've seen it....
  16. Forgot to say that you have to keep filling the system too.
  17. You have to run a line from the bleeder into a small fluid bottle, make sure the line is submerged in fluid. Then open the valve and have someone push the pedal to the floor slowly, then close the valve and release, repeat until all air is gone.

    clutch

Clutches are pretty simple, do it yourself, or atleast with someone that can show you. The less "black boxes" your car has, the better.
  19. Lincoln has a welding class, take a weeks vacation and be a pro.
  20. It is based off of a Bombarier snow mobile engine, if it is blown up, it is because it wasn't being cooled. I doubt it is blown up, but it is possible. Give me symptoms and I can probably tell you what is wrong.
  21. Check for loose change in the cigarette lighter.
  22. The converter we have keeps drive to the wheels no matter what the rpm, it just helps with launching, when the tree is falling and the transmission is locked up (trans brake) the converter is slipping. But that isn't to say that running 1200 rpm the car wont move, otherwise it would be really hard to stage the car (hard to move 8 inches at 4800 rpm). It only allows for the engine to rev while the rest of the drive train is standing still, without having anything come flying apart.
  23. Not sure how the jackson works but on a BBC with a super charger, the super charger pretty much is your intake. If you are running one that is like a turbo that is on the side of the motor and is spun with belts you should be able to run the same rail if you run a moderate pully on the drive.

    ac removal

take it to any shop that does AC service tell them they can have it, they will probably take it from ya. Atleast take it to a shop and have them reclaim the freon, then just pull the compressor, piping and coil.
