    He WAS Beheaded!

The only way to win is to make those dumb bastards die for what they believe in, not to make yourself die for what you believe in. I cannot believe any religion would support such a barbaric act. It is my firm belief that we are probably doing good in Afghanistan, Iraq and other places in the middle east, I wish the media would find that.
  2. On an auto-start tree, if the other guy is staged and you prestage, you have 15 seconds to stage or RED on YOU

    Vegas

Just got back from vegas, 4 days at the Excalibur and 1 day at Rio. It was my 3rd trip this year (my family lives there) and I have to say one of the best times I had. 9 Fine Irishmen is one of the better Irish Pubs (in the US) I have been to. The Excalibur blew as a hotel to stay at, avoid it like the plague. The Rio was excellent, big rooms (all suites) and the pool rocked. If you go to vegas, go during warm weather cause G strings and huge bewbies where everywhere. If you end up there, go down Spring Mountain road to Don't Ask Lounge and say hey to my step-dad.
  4. Courtesy staging says one guy/gal in, then the other in on Pre Stage, then the first one that pre-staged goes in, followed by the second. No one enforces it and it is hard to police, what if you have a big block blown car with a weak converter? you will endup rolling both beams if you aren't watching what you are doing. I always pull up to about 2 feet from the beams and wait for the guy/gal burning out (me = slow in my honda). Then pull into pre and wait.
  5. Two words, Thank you.

    Education pays.

These kids aren't stupid and I think they did the right thing.... http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/metropolitan/2588192
  7. My guess is the person she knows works in her office or lives near her (that is how she knows them). She isn't being a bitch, she is keeping the circle closed. Don't get pissed just tell her you are hesitant because it is ALOT of money.

    Crash at MCIR

Actually National Dragster, or Drag Review had an article from IHRA stating they are going to resurface and correct many problems with this track or it will loose IHRA backing. I hope it happens, back in the day it was a big track.
  9. in case you think this site is real Registrant Organization: Chicken Head Productions
  10. We are running the first points race this weekend and are trying to figure out the real poop about the track. I have heard the track is:Awesome, Sticky, Slippery, HUGE BUMP, terrible, worst track ever, best track ever. So, if you have raced there, give me your opinion, especially if you have run a car with slicks that runs low ETs. Basically anyone on slicks would have an opinion that could be valuable. Street tires hook up a bit differently. (not bashing just looking for opinions that will help.)
  11. my little ottos really clean it up. I have some ghost shrimp and cory catfish.
  12. I love MOP at the mall but they ONLY do clipper cuts well. the boobs in the face are a nice touch.
  13. There is a kenneths in hilliard over in mill run, other than that, slim pickins in Hilliard. Shave it.
  14. I do not fear a draft, if you are in the reserves and get called up you cannot cry about it, they tell you (several times) that you are in the reserves. When I got out in 1998 I went into the Naval reserves and they told me that I could be called up at any time so I know what I say. I have since been fully discharged (8 year commitment) so I don't have to worry. Plus Submarines aren't really all that involved with the war on terror, especially SSBNs.
  15. You cannot do better that DJ Magic Mike, Vicious Bass
  16. I just stopped by there a couple of days ago, they are running a $14.99 oil change special. They run Kendall out of their bulk tanks. 614-873-7107, they are very quick.
  17. BR13, I thought there where a bunch of guys there. I was sitting by the guy that keep talking about that sportsman cut off. We run Quick and could care less about the damn sportsman index. As for bikes, the track manager is getting some of the local clubs to start coming out. We shall see.
  18. Jacobs makes a variable output device for people that need clean voltage. Lots of racing VWs have them to keep the 12V stable no matter what RPM. As far as building a rectifier or something like that, go to the library or radio shack and read up on it.
  19. That track is owned by someone, and someone else leases the facility and manages it each year. It needs alot of work to become a 1/4 mile facility. If you run a street car and run thru the 1/8th the shutdown seems long, but if you run across the finish line in less than 5 seconds and are running over 140MPH, the shut down is VERY short. The guy that is running the track this year wants to get more bikes and quick cars on the program, he has a super-quick series put together (we will be running it) and some other nice things are going on. Stuff like putting a playground in the spectator area etc... This guy fell into some money by way of his business is booming so he wants to pump up the sport he loves. Having a drivers meeting is a big sign of things to come as he wants the racers involved. I told him that sport compact participation will probably be low because most guys that run SC want 1/4 mile, but the $500 purse will be a big draw. He said if he gets enough participation he will add another to the $500 purse because Byers is putting up the first $500. It should be an interesting year and I suggest you run out for a test and tune to check it out, you might like it better than trails.
  20. I went to the Pacemakers drivers meeting on Sunday. They are trying to generate more interest in the track and make it a bit more friendly to all. One of the things that may interest some of the guys here is the Byers will be sponsoring a Friday night race each friday night with a $500 prize for sport compacts. Might be an interesting thing for those that don't have BBC drag cars. That is just one of the many programs they want to have in place to get more and different classes at the track. http://www.pacemakersdragway.com
  21. I assume they are the same as any other car. The Taylors took my VW (1970) to the Bridgestone/Firestone dealer in Dublin since Taylor Tire is a Bridgestone Firestone affiliate. You can call the Taylors and ask, they will know where you can go.
  22. Not true, they used to only do OTR equipment. They have changed. They don't have an alignment machine yet, they take it to the firestone dealer in dublin.
  23. 8070 Corporate BLVD, Plain City (don't be fooled by the address they are really close to True Performance). I know them really well (I am their computer guy) so they didn't charge me for the labor, I bought the parts. Call Kevin and he can give you a quote. Tell them you know J from racing and they will hook you up.
  24. These guys just built a new shop and I had my bug's front brakes replaced there. They did a conversion from drums to discs and replaced the ball joints, got it all aligned really nice. They saw a wire that was getting bare and hanging down, Mike tracked it down and replaced it free of charge (reverse light wire). They have a huge lift (15000lbs), bulk oil pumps, really sweet tire changer that does chrome wheels really well, and they are great people. 614-873-7107
