I work in sales so I basically have an unlimited food/booze budget and I get to stay in awesome places. Downside, not home much and I don't get to be a tourist as much as I want. All in all, I dig the gig.
One of the best steaks i have ever had was in Ireland at a french bistro in Dublin. Random.
I have been to Ireland before, this time its for my wife to run the Dingle Marathon so we will be west coasting it the whole time. Flying into Shannon, rather than Dublin.
I take my wife and 2 boys to Hawai'i every year. Then we usually do an International trip, my wife and I. Last year was First Class to Sydney. This year I am going to Ireland.
As some of you know, I travel for my job. This year is no exception.
So far:
110,000 Miles on United
5,000 on Delta
96 Nights in Hiltons
5 Nights in Bellagio
8 in various others like Kempinski in Munich
14 countries including 1 new country Taipei
I am going to Ireland and the Netherlands and then probably only US for the rest of the year.
Anyone else running around this much?
I am going to be there Monday and Tuesday, then Seattle for Wednesday and LA for Thursday. The next time I am out for more than a day we will go get dinner or something.
I have worked in Silicon Valley for the last 8 years, though I don't get out there much. I am in the northern end now, Redwood Shores (behind Oracle). Eat at Hobees (get the coffee cake). Try to hit Refuge in San Carlos if you are looking for something fun to do.
My Lorex system is really good. I can view from anywhere, very high def, records about a month of data, dynamic dns. 4 cams, with cables, $1400. I did the install.
With competition doing it already, why go with yours?
(Devil's advocate)
Best antivirus? No antivirus. Keep your systems patched and you will never get a known virus, anti virus is only good for known viruses... Any virus that has mutated isn't going to be detected by signature based AV.
Regular patching, looking at your browsers and patching all browser applications (adobe, java, etc...) is the best security.
I work for Qualys so I can state with a pretty good idea of the space, running a tool like our browsercheck will keep you safe. https://browsercheck.qualys.com
So, if the police are chasing a criminal, they can come into your home. They can't demand the use of your property for anything.
If it was me, I would end up owning all of their homes.
I had lots of friends on mandatory PT in the Navy that had close to 3% BF but their neck/waist ratio showed them at over 20%. Cut, ripped, crazy workout freaks, military standards show them at 20%+.
This is why they are petitioning it.
I would expect potential upside to change but the base to remain relatively the same.
That being said, this is YOUR job too. Take more money. Period. If you are good at sales, sell them on paying you more.
"Where did you get this?"
"My Fiance and I just broke up, I just need the cash."
They ask questions before pawning.
Did the pawn shop take ID on the person that sold them the item?
