this is why i don't use debit cards,if they did this on a credit card you wouldn't be worrying about overdrafting your account or anything,and its not 'your' money so once you dispute it it doesn't matter how long it takes to get resolved, you aren't out the $140 or whatever. That and whenever i've had a problem with a bad charge on my credit card, i called them and they removed it ASAP, like right there on the phone no biggie.

Whew, tonight was interesting... Was doing about 80mph on 71s tonight about 10:30pm just crusing home and all the sudden shit gets real wobbly and unstable. I'm in the middle lane and for some reason traffic is pretty thick, so I'm trying to slow down/keep it straight and get over two lanes of traffic and nobody cares. Back tire must've caught something but it didn't last long, from the time I felt something wrong to the point where it was flat was seconds, not long at all. I'm just glad nothing bad happened but it was a scary feeling not knowing if the bike was going to do something crazy or not. I had to countersteer the rear end swaying back and forth with the handlebars to keep it straight. Then I sat on the side of 71s for nearly 45 min before someone stoppped and offered a cell phone. (mine had died sometime during the afternoon.) Then I spent 30-45minutes loading it in my dad's pickup and strapping it down. So instead of getting home around 10:30-10:45, I just got home 20minutes ago...good stuff plus I'm out probably $300 for a new tire. Oh well, just glad I got stopped safely.

My boards are Obrien I believe all 3, if not at least one. I'd let the oldest one for for $50, with bindings and fins, it's really in great shape but probably 5 years old. We probably used it for 2 summers and then its just been sitting in the garage. LMK if you want to spend more and I'll look into my other one and see what brand/model it is and the bindings, but it'll be more.

That blows, I'm not sure what he means by a patch job, but if can make it look like new maybe settle for that and keeping your $1500 that was still owed. That way you end up with a fixed driveway and saving $1500 on the job? Either way it sucks, but dragging scumballs to court is never fun and might be a waste of time if he is not fully bonded/insured/set-up as a business. And even if he is, who's to say he'll follow through with any court orders.
