  1. Yeah, I don't live in a new subdivision or anything, I mean I live in Bexley, and the grass came in pretty decent, nice and thick in a bunch of places/the majority, but I still have good size bare patches and then me/my wife made a miscommunication.... I told her to go buy a weed killer, and listed a few brands and used it on 80% of our front lawn, well turns out it was a weed and grass killer, so now I have huge yellow patches. Anyways. I overseeded and fertilized again but I don't think any of it took because of the weed killer. Anyone know how long the weed killer stays active on the lawn? I may just reseeed as I think that would do the trick, guess I shouldn't have screwed around with weed killlers yet,:banghead: And when I first seeded in the first of april i did rent a bull dozer to grade/level/till the surface and raked a bunch of crap out, lots of rocks, etc. thanks
  2. dayum! 8 years old? shit my parents wouldn't even let me get a pager at 15, lol!

    I can't....my daughter's b-day party is that day.
  5. I paid about $3g's for my high efficiency AC unit about 2years ago. It sucked, but the one I replaced was from 1986, so hopefully I get that use out of mine. I went with a Lennox Elite.
  6. HAHA +1, i was wondering what the fuck that word was.
  7. I'm thinking about buying sod for my lawn, I'm not happy with the results of seeding and want some fucking grass this year, so I'm gonna man up and spend the money. Best price I've found locally is .20 cents per sqft. Just seeing if anyone has gone this route, what it cost, if you did it yourself or had it done, who you used, etc etc. thanks
  8. do you need just a straight piece 5feet long? I'm pretty sure autozone or jegs has these premade in different lengths with the fittings already on. Might have to call them but I know I bought some a couple years ago for my dad's kit car.

  18. Got help, thanks to all that PMed me!
  19. for sure. i'm gonna check around to see if anyone wants to unload them/help me set them for like $10 an hour, or some set price. With a lot of people out of work I'm sure I could find someone who wants some extra cash. Luckily there's only about 75 pavers, but they are nearly 100lbs a piece. I moved 60 of them this weekend and I'm tired. But where can I get a trailer to haul 7000lbs? The biggest one uhaul rents will only hold 4000lbs. What teh gay?
  20. sweet, thanks dave. I just realized my math was fucked and it'll actually be closer to 7000lbs so a trailer would be my best route. Wanna help me unload it?
  21. Mine's a capecod, so my upstairs get hot as hell, the first floor is decent, and the basment stays nice and cool. Lately I've been opening the windows upstairs and turning a fan on for an hour or two before we go to bed and it's fine.
  22. Ok, my dad has a 2001 silverado ls,4x4, 2500hd,single cab with the long bed. I'm trying to figure out how much I can safely put in the bed for a 3ish hour drive on hwy. I'm looking online and see numbers like 3700lbs max payload, but is that stuff in the bed or max you can tow? I need to move about 5400lbs and am wondering if I will have to make two trips, or if its safe to do it in one trip. Also, where should I place the weight to make it handle/ride the best and be the safest? Thanks
